How to unlock the Dirt and Blame achievement in Weird West: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
This is a tricky one. There are a couple side quests that you need to complete in a greedy fashion to unlock this achievement in Chapter 3 the protector as well as turn down the offer to form a truce. For the side quests, you'll need to sell the sheriff's badge and the peoples land titles. You can sell the star at a general store and the land titles at a bank.
Also, since unlocking this achievement will
making it impossible to get the Getting the Gang Back Together achievement/trophy I put together a video of how you can easily complete this achievement and then go back to a previous save and not have to redo a huge part of the story.
Hope this helps!

I never understand when people get upset because someone didn't do a text guide or vice versa. The people who do guides on Trueachievement don't work here. They're volunteering their time to help fellow players. Many people are perfectly fine with video guides. Some even prefer them. Just because you don't prefer them doesn't make it a bad guide or a problem to complain about. Instead of complaining why not leave a comment asking them to add text instructions to the solution. And if they don't want to, guess what, they don't have to. They've already VOLUNTEERED their time to create a perfectly accurate guide to get the necessary outcome. Instead of complaining, why not be helpful? Create the text guide yourself for people like yourself who prefer one. Contribute positively to the TA community instead of negatively by complaining. Especially when the solution is so easy. You barely have to do any work since you can just watch the video and type out the steps.

Why not simply type out the quests and the outcomes required? a 3 minute video is entirely unnecessary.

During the Protector's Journey you'll need to make all the greedy decisions that you can in order to become a Wiindigo at the end. This includes looting and then pawning off the Marshal's badge found in Boulder Creek Mine to any merchant, making the settlers pay for the land deeds at your visit to Mayor Week's hacienda for the bracelet and refusing to ally with the trappers at the end. It's possible selling or keeping the rifle found at Mayor Week's hacienda is another. At the end of the journey you'll be transformed into the Wiindigo when you toss the skull into the fire.
This WILL kill off the Protector so if you plan to keep all of the journey characters alive make sure to make a save beforehand.

I sold the sheriff's badge, sold the land deeds at a bank, and refused a truce with the trappers. Forgot to even pick up the rifle at the hacienda.
To minimize what you have to replay (assuming you want to go back and keep the Protector alive), I recommend doing Boulder Creek Mine first - you can just keep the Sheriff's badge in your inventory for the time being. Next go through Galen's Crossing until you get the land deeds, then SAVE HERE before doing anything with those two items. First run, head to a town to sell everything off and turn the difficulty down to Story mode to breeze through the rest of the missions until you become a Windigo, then reload your save and make the good guy decisions and do whatever you want to be canon for your playthrough.

Becoming ally with the trappers at the end has no influence on becoming a wiindigo or not. I kept gun, sold deeds and sheriff badge and became a Wiindigo even if I chose truce.
