How to unlock the Ghost Town achievement in Weird West: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
I managed to turn Grackle into a Ghost Town by murdering all its residents. I suggest making a save before attempting this, as Grackle has a number of quest givers and shop owners here. Make sure you have enough ammunition and bandages as 10+ members of the town will fight back. Here's some tips:
Have or hire a full Posse (Team of 3 max).
Use a second save as you progress through the town. So if you die you won't have to do everything again.
Carolyn Howard in the Tavern is a hidden Werewolf. Kill her first and quick before she turns.
Sheriff Flora Albright in the Sheriffs Office is a hidden Siren. She'll run away at half health.
The Bank has 3 armed deputies inside. Suggest climbing to balcony, Molotov the windows and Dynamite the top door off.
Once everyone in Grackle is dead. Leave the town, fast travel away and the achievement should pop. You can now reload your save prior to shooting up the town! See my video for more detail:

I killed everyone probably too late in Chapter 1. The Mysterious Girl is in town and she won't leave. I killed all townsfolk, then left and came back. Most of them re-spawned. I did this three times to no avail. I'll have to try again with another town.

Quickbend is where I did it, you go there as part of the story just make sure you make a save before as there is a story character you don’t really want to kill. Any area labelled as a town should work though

To get this achievement/trophy you need to kill EVERYONE inside a settlement or town. You should be able to do this at any town, and I’ve seen reports from people who got it at Grackle, Quickbend, Valford and others.
I personally got this in the town of “Horton” on the far South East of the map.
I would recommend making a save before getting this trophy as you’ll rack up a large bounty on your head for killing so many innocents and possibly vendetta’s as well.
Once you’ve picked your town and made your save. You need to make your way through and kill everyone possible. I personally found it easier to pick a smaller town with less people and to have a full possy as they’ll help fight and draw attention away from you. This can be a tough fight depending where you do it as many people will fight back and some people may be werewolves or sirens in disguise.
Once you’ve killed everyone (and I would run back through town a second time to double check) you’ll get the achievement/trophy when you travel away from the town.
If you miss anyone and come back most people will re-spawn and they’ll be hostile towards you, so taking the extra time to make sure it’s completely clear is best.

There is a way to do it without fighting.
Possible spoilers ahead.
When on the fifth journey travel to the town where Clarence works at the jewelers store. He will be tied up by a bunch of pigmen. After the cutscene ends just leave the area without engaging in a rescue. The achievement will pop. Make sure to save before you leave - I found that when you return the pigmen engage in a shootout without some outlaws and a Clarence dies because they fire explosives before you are even able to reach him.
