In order to access the Canyon level, you will need to have the 3rd rune which allows you to break barriers. Once you have this rune, on the level "The Hunt", look for a room where you are able to break down a barrier and there will be a way-point which allows you to start the canyon level.

Now if youre feeling really ballsy upgrade only your weapons up to level 4 and your health to level 2. This will make you very vulnerable but will allow you to take out enemies faster.

Dom2096... There's a boss after the fight with the second preacher that drops the 3rd rune after you beat it... You'll know it's him cuz he shoots yellow beams at you... That's when I got it

I think the rune which allows you to break barriers is the 2nd but I'd reccomend getting also the 3rd which allows you to fall from heights without taking damage, very useful in this level

It is glitched? I have power rune, i still can't breake door with horse head. One time it let me in but other hundred times i can't breake it.

Great guide, I was pulling my hair out trying to find this one aha.
The metal doors are a little buggy. For some reason, the game doesn't always register when you've successfully broken them down. I've found attacking them and reloading or teleporting away/back again can help.

In the previous two levels you should make sure to pick up all 4 upgrades and put them into health so you start the canyon with 442 health. Upgrades on the canyon level itself should go into weapon damage. If you can pick up two shields for this level that works best or else I would use a shield and an axe. For weapons you're going to want something for range while clearing the level as well as a pistol like the fifth lucky shot. You want to bait enemies into a room you previously cleared that is well lit, making use of the fact that the hallways only have a wall on one side of them giving you opportunities to get a few shots on enemies as your baiting them and getting hits in with the axe. Just take this level slow and work on breaking off enemies from the rooms back to a cleared room. For the boss lock on weapons wont be as much use for the fight as you are only really going to damage the boss after you evade, so drop your ranged weapon before the fight in exchange for something without lock on (either two pistols, or a shotty and a pistol).
