How to unlock the Swift Justice achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled - Definitive Guide

* This is copied from my no kill walkthrough for the Pacifist achievement.

After finishing with the murderer my stats show about 15 minutes of game time. I've gone ahead and added achievements you will unlock if this is your first time doing any of these story lines. It helps if you have played a little bit and are familiar with the map.

Start as the main character and choose to skip the tutorial, if you can. Head to Clintville and help the lady with the drunk husband, and then accompany her to the Sheriff for his clue.
Westerado: Double BarreledThe Clintville CoupleThe The Clintville Couple achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 8 pointsBring the drunk husband home to his wife.

Go talk to the Old Miner and ask about his hat. Go to the Train Station and talk to the ticket salesman and ask about the specific ticket. Now talk to the Station Master and get the mission to clear the tracks. Return to the Old Miner and get his hat.
Westerado: Double BarreledSwap-a-lotThe Swap-a-lot achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 30 pointsGet the Miner's Hat.

Head to the Ghost Miner and walk with him to the Beefhead gang to clear the tracks (the ghost miner will scare them away). Now take him up to his pick axe to get his clue.
Westerado: Double BarreledReuniting PeteyThe Reuniting Petey achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 35 pointsHelp the ghost miner find his pickaxe.

Go back to the Train Station and talk to the Station Master. Now you need to find three hands to help clear the tracks of debris. Three guaranteed helpers are Rancher Richard (Southeast of Clintville) and Rancher Bell and the Old Miner (both near each other in Clintville). Go talk to each one and then go straight into the tunnels to meet the Station Master and the three hands. Return to Clintville Station and talk to the Station Master once more.

Talk to the Ticket Salesman and ask about a timetable. Tell him you are from Transcontinental Express.
Westerado: Double BarreledTranscontintalThe Transcontintal achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 16 pointsConvince the Ticket Salesman that you're from the Transcontinental Express.

Talk to the Station Master again and then you have to wait for the Train to show up with your sister.

The quickest way to make the train show up is to just head west on the tracks until you get to Santa Anna Station. Now head North to the Haberdasher and ask her about the business and then offer to find her hands to run the store. Now go out and talk to all of the women in Santa Anna and Santa Anna Station until you find three that you can ask to help, then return to the Haberdasher.

Fast travel back to Clintville Station and talk to your sister.
Westerado: Double BarreledKadekedeng Kadekedeng, OEH OEH!The Kadekedeng Kadekedeng, OEH OEH! achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 66 pointsGet the trains running again.

You now have to meet her at the following places, in order:
1. Your Ranch (Where the game starts)
2. Fort Motors (East of Clintville Station)
3. The Cemetary (North of Clintville)
4. The Desert (One Screen East of Santa Anna Station)
5. Lake Santa Anna (Cross the Bridge to the West from Santa Anna, go North three screens and then cross a bridge back East)
6. Finally, find her at the bridge back in to Santa Anna.
Westerado: Double BarreledEnding the DroughtThe Ending the Drought achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 91 pointsPlaying as the sister get the river in Santa Anna flowing again.

For me the murderer showed up almost immediately upon fast-traveling back to Clintville. Now confront him and get to the Murderers Hideout.

Upon arriving at the hideout and during the first dialogue with the murderer, get a good look at him to verify his appearance in case you didn't get every clue (I didn't have his bandana color).

Now there are 27 people to deal with including the murderer in his hideout. There are 6 in the first section where you flip the two switches. These can easily be avoided by sprinting through the section.

After you come back out of these mines, you have 21 people left that have to die. This is not a problem as it's almost guaranteed that two will be killed in crossfire. But I just ran around a bit for the first five until at least two were dead, and then killed the other three.

Now it is very important to press cn_Y for the map and then cn_RSr to the image of the killer to refresh your memory. A few differences that seem to be most prevalent are his hat style, his bandana color, and the belt and buckle colors. Not as common were fat or thin and shirt color. Now you have to fight four guys in this room and you should be able to get at least one or two crossfires here too.

Next is the horse chase. You have 11 guys here and just from avoiding them and reloading you should pick up a couple more crossfires.

Finally complete the boss fight where you can chose not to kill the murderer and unlock the achievement along with these:
Westerado: Double BarreledVengeanceThe Vengeance achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 80 pointsBeat the game as the Gunslinger.

Westerado: Double BarreledSecret AchievementThe Secret Achievement achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 78 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

Westerado: Double BarreledSwift JusticeThe Swift Justice achievement in Westerado: Double Barreled worth 183 pointsBeat the game in less than an hour.

Note: You can die during any point in the Murderer's Hideout and your kills while in the hideout will reset when you start again. Also, as mentioned in the comments by buttmudBrooks, your timer for Swift Justice will also reset to your last save at the hideout.

That's a good question, but sadly I don't have a good answer for you. I went for this after becoming familiar with the boss battle so I had no problem doing it in time on the first try.

This is late for fireiz most likely but I'll answer you for others who wonder:
The time DOES reset to whatever you reach the hideout with. I reached it with 27 minutes. When you die or quit to the menu you will see your time on your profile.
I died at least 20 times because I was doing my 0 hit (using the brother who dies in 1 hit) and Pacifist achievements all in the same run. Because I died so much I noticed the timer tick up a minute every 5 or so deaths, and worried it would invalidate. But once I successfully beat the boss I unlocked Swift Justice. In real time it took me well over an hour after I first died at the boss.

Tl;dr--Timer resets when you die to whatever your save was upon reaching the hideout.

You should probably mention the OTHER locations the murderer shows up at.

I have never had the killer show up in Clintville like you mentioned (it took me forever to find him using your guide). The killer always showed up for me in the Clintville Train Station, Santa Anna or the Santa Anna Train Station, but never in Clintville.
