Do you have to do these in one playthrough??

No, each of them requires their own playthrough

If you had any of the endings done before the patch that fixed the broken endings, you will have to redo them all again for this achievement. None of them will have registered as complete.

I did that and it didn't pop :( I think I'm gonna delete my save and try again

I did them all again and it popped for me. It's possible that I completed more endings than the ones listed here though.

Any that you can add? Would be greatly appreciated

For example "Shoulda took off" is achieved through any of three different endings: Fulfilling the Oil tycoon questline, taking down the oil tycoon, siding with the indians (and possibly siding against the indians). Then there are the different character endings, but I don't think I did any of those post-patch. I definitely did different variations of the "shoulda took off" ones though.

Yep, I can confirm that this worked for me. It popped for me when I got "Everyone's Waifu" and I had all the above achievements already.

There's the possible exception that you might also need the "normal" ending... ie. the one without any dialogue when you shoot the murderer.

my game crashed after getting murdering mass... hoping that doesn't force another fight against the town cuz that was rough.

nope I had to do it again and I know it was the one missed because it is the only repeat ending I did. If the game crashes before it saves your ending, you get the achievement but no credit.

Shout out to bigsmok3r! I had beaten the story countless times doing everything. I did that method although I skipped the Indian story line because they were dead after the oil tycoon and it worked.

Super annoyed with this one. The bugs with a few these achievements have really ruined my experience with this game. This is my last one and I can't seem to get it to pop after redoing just about every ending. I tried a quicker method of bigsmok3r's solution with no luck. Going to try to follow it completely this time... roll

Same thing happened to me. I love this game but I’m not looking forward to trying to get this to pop. I should’ve been first to finish :/

So I just finished another playthrough as the Brother, I finished the Oil Tycoon questline completely and was only able to advance Tress to the point of sleeping with her, she refused to buy the house with me. No luck at the end.

Found a Steam thread from about 2 years ago where someone describes just about the same solution as bigsmok3r did here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/275200/discussions/0/13188362...

Going to give it one more shot buying the house with Tress first, then completing the Oil Tycoon line. If I don't get it after then I think I'm shelving this one for now. Lame.

@bigsmoker
Did you go through to the end with the Indian quest (take over Clintville) or do you mean you went until that quest but stopped short of doing it? Who called you half blood? The chief, tycoon or the murderer?
I have gone through everything everyone said here but I'm out of ideas. Wtf else could there be?

Kloxicon when you say “all the Shoulda took off endings”, do you mean the three (possibly four) I mention further up in this thread, or others?

BiLLzuMaNaTi did you try doing all of those on your fresh save, do you remember?

@Kloxicon: How is it misleading? Are those not all the endings?

Thrash: I haven’t deleted my save and tried doing them all over yet

So I can’t make a guide trying to figure it out and get help from the community?

I finally got it after a lengthy hiatus and I think Kloxicon is 100% correct because I went straight for the murdering mass play through (just kill all the saloon patrons and then fight all the subsequent waves in Clintville, ending it by killing the director) and as soon as I did this one ending (should be a news broadcast) it popped. Thanks all!

Is it ok to overwrite a save slot? I think I saw only 3 available and don’t want to lose progress

Yes, you can safely delete save slots and still get the achievement.

Personally, I've done this game on two profiles following the TA walkthrough and it's popped after the last playthrough (Murdering Mass) both times without fail. I think part of the issue with this achievement is what Matto described above where if you get an ending but the game crashes before the credits roll, the game will not have saved that ending and you'll have to repeat it again, making sure you sit through the credits afterwards until you reach the main menu. I don't know if anyone who can't get this achievement has also tried deleting their save data and starting from scratch; obviously not an ideal solution to have to redo it all, but it has done the trick for people who had the Individualist achievement get stuck on them.

Congrats! Thanks so much for the info. I wanted to complete this game so bad lol. I should've been first but couldn't get this to pop. I think I'm gonna go back soon :)

I just got this and had to re-do them all but I done 1 extra thing. I played as the Brother and done the Oil tycoons quest line but also married Tress, At the end he said something about making booties with Miss Hatt and you had to die for some reason lol, Also I finished the Indians quest all the way to Clintville and he said I was a half bood -You can add that in if it unlocks your achievementtoast

- Played as the Brother
- Went to Clintville and did Old Miner, Concerned Wife, Teary-eyed Woman
- Talked to Tress at the Sheriff's & the Saloon
- Talked to Tress at Bob's
- Talked to Tress Oil Tycoon's
- Talked to Tress at her lodge
- Did Lost Miner (Told the woman her husband was dead)
- Did the Haberdashery quest
- Gathered up $1500 and bought the house with her
- Started and finished the entire Oil Tycoon questline
- Found the murderer and finished the game

Ended up with the ending where the murderer was sent by the oil tycoon to get our land. No achievement. Bummer.

Ok I did the oil tycoon quest and still nothing. Also did every questline that has an achievement tied to it. This is the only one I have left so what else would there be? Are there any major storylines that end with the murderer's death but without an achievement?

Also, correct me If I’m wrong BiLLzuMaNaTi but I believe this solution was written as the ”theoretical” unlock conditions before this achievement was even obtainable. But yeah, game be glitchy yo, Kloxicon if you manage to figure out how to get this reliably then please share!

Well, this is my last achievement and I can guarantee that it is just completely glitched and unobtainable for me. I tried many years ago to get all the Achievements, and came back try it out, spent all day on it and it still didn’t work. Did 6 separate playthroughs:

-Killed 100+ people for the Tyler Durden One
-Finished the Indian Questline and got the ending where he talks about half-bloods
-Finished Sister’s Questline and got the ending where it’s your Dad
-Finished the Oil Tycoons Questline and he talks about how Oil Tycoon wanted your land.
-Slept with Triss and got the ending where he talks about your brother tending another mans garden.
-Finished Murdering Mass by killing the director and getting the news report. I actually did this *twice* because it crashed and I read that that voids it. So I did it again until the credits rolled.

Edit: Well **** me because for some reason a couple hours after I did all this I was doing a random other thing and this achievement randomly popped out of no where, completing my game. Talk about delayed gratification...

This is what worked for me, so if you have 78/79 of the achievements in this game and it isn’t unlocking, delete one of your save games and do each of these six endings in six separate playthroughs. Important to note you have to exhaust the murderer’s dialogue until he talks about the specific ending (so don’t just shoot him right away). And if the game crashes, it might not count it, so go kill the murderer again if your game crashes to be safe.

-Kill 100+ people for the Tyler Durden Ending. The Bandits will fear you around ~80, so count until you have over 100. In this ending the murderer will say he is you.
-Finish the Indian Questline and get the ending where he talks about half-bloods.
-Finish your sister’s Questline and get the ending where the murderer is your Dad.
-Finish the Oil Tycoon’s Questline, and the murderer will talk about how Oil Tycoon wanted your land.
-Sleep with Triss and get the ending where he talks about your brother tending another mans garden. (Note you do not need to buy the house, just sleep with her and get her in bed will be enough to trigger this ending)
-Finish Murdering Mass by killing everyone in Clintville until the director tries to kill you. Eventually you will kill the director and get the news report ending. I actually did this *twice* because it crashed, so I deleted my save and did it on a fresh one. You do not need to do this in Santa Anna. Just Clintville will count.

Also good to note that at least for me the achievement didn’t actually unlock until a couple hours later when I was doing some other random thing.
