How to unlock the Breaking the Ice achievement in WET - Definitive Guide

If your first playthrough is hard difficulty, the arena will be abyssmal, make the minigun guy the priority and don't let the sword guys get too close. Unless you're going for style points, you may want to close 2 of the early doors early to avoid the CF that follows. Final cutscene doesn't trigger till all enemies in the battle royale are killed--one of mine never entered the area and I had to snipe him from a thousand miles away hahaha!

The most difficult part of this chapter is the arena at the end of it. We found it was usually in your best interest to have full (or close to full) health when starting this arena. In the area before (where there are huge blocks of ice), you will want to do all acrobatic kills to keep your modifier up. Destroy all the ice - there's some xp hidden in a couple bricks against the right wall (facing the exit) and and ammo can against the far wall. You'll want to ammo up before going to the arena.
There will be a guy with a chain gun pretty much straight across from you when you enter this one. Work up your modifier before trying to take him out.
Generally, swinging pole to pole and jumping from ledge to ledge leaves you open to lots of attack from the guys on the fenced in landing. You can either work to destroy this door first or the door beneath it, but if you're going for speed on this one and not exp, you'll want to kill them off pretty early, then deal with the chain gun.
