How to unlock the Hard Time achievement in WET - Definitive Guide

Difficulty achievements are stackable, so you should start the game on hard mode, as it isn't hard, really, and it will unlock harder difficulties.

Upgrade your health first and then choose the other upgrades carefully.

Just like Giggle Whiskers said, at some places pretty hard.

The only "hard" place I've come across is that bullshit level where you are falling through the sky. If you haven't bought pistol upgrades (by saving for the 50k points achievement), you're fucked since you can't kill the bastards fast enough. Plus, no health regen nor any way of actually moving.

For anyone else interested, let me chime in and say that hard IS hard. Or at least, in a handful of places it is so hard that it may make you very angry and possibly ruin the whole game experience for you. You may be forced to play the same "arena" repeatedly for upwards of an hour, listening to the same song and "BLAM-BLAM-BLAM-BLAM" of your guns that you'll have a headache.

It is recommended that you play on this difficulty for your first play-through. The game can be pretty frustrating at times but once you get a hold of the game-play mechanics and figure out the enemies patterns, it will become easier. While you shouldn't need it, here is a link to a youtube walkthrough: WET Walkthrough. (I didn't use this guide, so I can’t vouch for its quality).

Difficulty achievements do stack.

You will need to play through the game at least once to unlock the "Ultra Hard" and "Golden Bullets" difficulties. This shouldn't be to difficult but if you are having issues just practice and keep at it like any other hard mode.

I suggest you make good use of the upgrades and upgrade your health as soon as possible.

I advise you to start the first playthrough on this difficulty in order to open the “Femme Fatale” (Ultra Difficult) difficulty level for the second playthrough. Also, if you beat the game on this difficulty, you will automatically receive the achievements “ No Sweat! ” and “ Business as Usual ”.

I would also like to note that if you don’t want to target a hardcore game, then take the easier difficulty...
