How to unlock the All Roads achievement in What Remains of Edith Finch - Definitive Guide
This is the first achievement that you can earn. (If you miss it never fear- once you finish the game you can replay stories - and to do so to capture this achievement simply choose Edith).
Once you are off the boat and walking the trail to the house, The path will eventually have a fork in the road. Pick either side to begin with - and follow it all the way to the house. Once the final commentary of Edith is complete walk back and walk down the other path.

The achievement popped for me as I walked back FROM the house to the starting location but on the other path. You actually don't need to walk back the same path and then take the other one to the house :)

I've tried 3 separate times now doing exactly as the walkthrough says and it will not unlock. I'm thinking one of the updates changed or glitched something.

A very guide with all of the achievements and puzzles. Click the video and it will jump at this achievement.
At the beginning of the story, while walking toward the house, you'll end up to a crossroad. Just take a way and reach the house.
Then, at the end of the game, replay the game from the start and when back to the crossroad, take the other way.
(if you want you can go one way, then turn back at a certain point near the house, go back to the crossroad and walk down the other way, but I find my method faster)

Near the start of the game, you will be walking through a forest towards the house. Right at the beginning, the path will split in two directions: the driveway that leads up to the house, and a small path to the left through the woods. Take one path and follow it until you cross the bridge in front of the house. Then retrace your steps back to the beginning, and take the other path. You will hear bits of dialogue as you go, and once you hear them all the achievement will unlock.
MISSABLE.
At the start of the game, as you’re walking through the forest, you will come across a split in the path (one goes down, one goes up). Go down first and walk along the path until you reach a basketball hoop. Turn around and go back to the split and now take the path going up. The trophy will unlock as you approach the house.
If you miss the trophy during the initial run, you can replay Edith’s Story using the “Replay Story” option (unlocks once you complete the game). This will start you at the very start of the game.

When you start the game and go to the house, there will be a fork in front of you, on the left the road will go down, turning into a path, on the right there will be a road that is blocked by a fallen tree. First you need to go one by one to the door of the house, then return to the fork and go through the second one. Achievochka!

I only found out about this achievement after finishing the game. I started the game again, followed a different path, and got the achievement halfway through)
