Whispike Survivors - Sword of the Necromancer

Ok in the Abbreviated Walkthrough of the roadmap and other achievement descriptions, I keep mentioning the farming method I used. Here's what worked for me. 

This will need a lot of manure. Hopefully you have the 10k manure achievement already.

Start a map and get the abilities you can, like attack, defense, and speed, or hearts will also help if available. If any of those are not showing up then just get whips if you can, and get fire or boomerangs or duplicates of stuff. Try to get those first four abilities as fast as you can. After getting to around level 6-8 and getting a few abilities, go ahead and die. Go to your farm and plant the seed you just got from getting killed and you will get abilities you died with. Go ahead and give the seed manure to grow to adult then start a map again with that Whispike you just grew. I usually just use the Alas Forest for this. Go ahead and level up and get more abilities and then die again. Re-plant the seed and use manure again until it's an adult and then start another map using it again. You see where I'm going with this. Just keep repeating this. There is only one thing you should never do while doing this and that's finish a map by getting to the Necromancer. If you do and he kills you then you will lose the seed. Make sure you die before getting to the time limit unless you're going for the time achievements. If you're doing that and get to the Necromancer, you will lose the seed and need to repeat this farming from scratch. Once you get a lot of abilities and can start with 10 that have some okay levels, like a few high levels over 5 or 6 and some lower levels like 2 or 3, then you can start on a map that you haven't completed yet and then go for the level 10 on everything by using the slots from the chests to help level abilities. I got pretty good at the slot game doing this. I ended up doing this method a couple times and getting all abilities to level 10 to complete the time limits on the last two maps. It seems like a lot but, it doesn't really take as long as you might think.

Once you get going and get some good abilities, mainly the attack and defense, then you will start to make it further and start getting chests. Try your best to get as many wins on the slots as you can before dying to make the next runs easier. Eventually, the more you max the easier the slot wins will get. Just always make sure to die before getting to the Necromancer. I can't stress this enough. I made it to the Necromancer a few times and kept losing my seeds, then I realized i needed to die before getting to him. I also had a lot of issues with the game crashing and just quitting for no reason so be careful of that. It didn't really mess up my grind so much but it did keep happening, I'd say like 4-8 times. it might take you a bit to get started the first try but you will get better at the slots. Once you get the achievement you can always die and start any map you need the time achievements for. I didn't know how the farming worked and how important it was to use the seeds for a while so I hope this helps. Again just make sure you have a good amount of manure and don't make it to the Necromancer and lose your seed. Good luck to you!
