As you play maps you will see large and small seed bags. Just pick them up until you have over 10k. This doesn't have to be all at once. You're okay to spend manure to make other Whispike in the farm.
When you start getting chests on your runs, if you miss getting any of the same symbols at all it will give you a bunch of seed bags. If you want to speed this up when you can get a bunch of chests to spawn just go around running into them and mashing
to hopefully not match any symbols and just get a ton of seed bags. I did this for a while and hit 10k in no time. Doing this and getting a lot of manure early on will make other things easier to do also.
