I got this in Challenge Mode on the first level "A Jump in Time..."
Jump to the right and latch onto the right platform. As it rises, swing 2x for momentum, release to the left, suck up a grub from the left tree & immediately spit it out, then quickly latch onto the tree.

worked for me though I used different buttons. Just swing off the tree (or the rising ledge) grab a dude spit him out and latch on (I did from the ledge to the tree when I popped this).

Find yourself a good level with a lot of places to latch on to. You must gain a little momentum while latched to swing off, suck in a bug/grub/nut, spit it out, and latch on to something else ALL before you hit the ground. Practice makes perfect.
