How to unlock the Fair Means or Foul achievement in WILD HEARTS - Definitive Guide

On the forging tree take the left path of whatever weapon you are using going from edgestone to intoxicating and to twilight. The twilight weapon has inherent skill called "poison wielder" which gives to a 5% chance to poison a kemono after landing successive strikes. Use this weapon regularly and soon enough the achievement will be yours.

Different weapons will inflict status ailments.

Craft one of these, and keep using it on Kemono and after 20 activations it will unlock the trophy!

To add to this, when it states "Kemono" it means the bosses and large monsters; the small Kemono and things wandering around will not count towards this.

There is a mistake in the translation of the trophy. You just need to impose any condition on the monsters. Of the available ones - cold, fire, entanglement, sleep, poison. Disease is not among them.
