The Heart of the Storm is a fight that unlocks at the end of a run if you have the Lumin Vase in your deck.
To unlock the Lumin Vase you need to start a run with 10 points of Storm Bells active. During that run 2 shops will glow on the map, these shops must be visited and a piece of the vase purchased from each (Lumin Goop and Broken Vase). Once both are purchased they will automatically combine into the Lumin Vase.
To get to 10 Storm Bells you must complete runs at 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 first. Each run you complete at your current max Storm Bells will unlock the ability to add 1 more Storm Bell to the next run.

The Heart of the Storm is the true final boss fight, and can only be fought if the player has the Broken Vase.
To obtain the Lumin Vase you need Lumin Goop and Broken Vase. After the Lumin Vase is in your deck, the fight triggers right after the final fight of the Run.

Players may accumulate both during a run. It appears if the player has at least 10 points of Storm Bells active.
