@Thrash Forever. It wouldn't work for me at 20.000. I had to reach 30.000. Spend at the risk store until I had 15k then went into the game and got 2k and achievement unlock. Can confirm this does not unlock at 20k. You need more to unlock it.

@ABreadstix. Thanks. I used arcade mode to get to 21-22k and it never unlocked. I think it helps to play in story mode. Trying it now.

Done. Hit 32500 to get it to unlock on a brand new save file. Played in Story Mode only and I do not think the end of level bonus stars count towards the achievement total (even though they show in total collected). Unlocked on Level 5 on second run through Story.

Can confirm it's 32k, I only did story and never spent any points either. I got the 10k at 16k too because I had 15500 when I finished the game and when I started a new game, I got it right after a few stars. Not entirely sure, but I didn't get the 5k at 5k either, so it probably was at 8k. I believe it counted all the points, including stars, count of the girl pics at level end, and the story end bonus.

23700 here. Passed 20k with the patema bonus at a level end in arcade mode. Re ran lvl 1 arcade repeatedly until it unlocked.

Make sense, I got 32k in total as well. Before I was deleting the save file everywhere, launching from club and restarting. I agree that the end of level bonus do not count. I got points during cutscene choices but I was sure these were not risk points. However when I would get those points my risk total would go up. So I think that also throws the total number higher than it actually is. Game seems to have a couple of bugs and I noticed one of those was a cutscene close to end that could not be auto'd.
