How to unlock the Rookie Reward achievement in WIPEOUT OMEGA COLLECTION - Definitive Guide

While racing, pressing the Options button will pause the game and in the list of options you will see an option called Pilot Assist. This basically aids you in turning corners and avoiding collisions. Just pick any race and make sure it is on when you start and just win the race. You can complete this in racebox as well as putting the difficulty on Novice to make it easier. Set it up to a shorter track like Anulapha Pass if you want to earn this quickly.

Do not use Pilot Assist in any other situation than this. It makes you a bad AG pilot. You can do this in any race in Campaign or Racebox mode. Once the race is loaded but before you've pressed to go to the starting line, pause the game and turn Pilot Assist on. Once you've won the race, you'll earn the trophy.

The autopilot is activated in the "Pause" menu. Using such a weapon will not give you a trophy.
