How to unlock the Sharpen Your Sword achievement in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Definitive Guide

Taishi Ci is the boss of the second main battlefield in this DLC. He is an ice-based enemy, so be prepared for the first of a few quite challenging ice fights. He's fast, and switches very quickly between bow and arrows projectiles and sword attacks (think Lu Bu from the base game). Since he's ice, your best bet are earth attacks. I specifically used the rock pillar attack continually and with great success.
I found his ranged/arrows attacks far easier to parry that his sword attacks, so I recommend keeping your distance. His ridiculous sword combos can be tough to manage the timing. Keep your distance and let him run into your rock pillars, or just wait for Critical Blows that you can parry.
