This achievement is obtained, as stated within the description, by killing 100 enemies using the new whip type weapon. The level and type of enemy does not matter, and you actually get a 1 Star whip for free which can be obtained through the Deliveries menu once you own the DLC. There is an NPC ally that uses a whip, however I'm not sure if her kills count, so assume they do not to be safe. You can obtain her 4 Star whip through maxing her affinity, or through random drops as well.
If you are wanting to grind through it, just load up an early level and go to town. The whip can hit multiple enemies and has unique abilities/properties that only it has, so make sure to read the tutorial on the whip to use it effectively. I'd say kill 100 enemies with it, then decide if you want to keep it as part of your weapon rotation. I have seen a whip user kill a 2-phase boss in about 15 seconds, so take that as you will.
If you are wanting to grind through it, just load up an early level and go to town. The whip can hit multiple enemies and has unique abilities/properties that only it has, so make sure to read the tutorial on the whip to use it effectively. This DLC introduces a new weapon type, whips, and like with previous DLCs, you'll automatically get whips as mission rewards. You'll also find many from enemies and chests and you progress through each mission.
This achievement is cumulative, and you can choose to work on it as you progress, or you can keep your strong weapons and relatively quickly grind this out after you complete the battlefields. Like with the previous two DLCs, my choice to grind this out was in the Act 2 mission The Yellow Heavens Burn. There are over a dozen enemies you can quickly run to, kill in one or two hits, and move on to the next. When they're all dead, return to the starting Battle Flag and rest to reset all the enemies. Repeat until this achievement unlocks.
