How to unlock the Ambition of the Brave achievement in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Definitive Guide
Story-related; cannot be missed.
This achievement unlocks upon beating the boss at the end of the third and final main battlefield in this DLC.
This boss is basically an amped up version of Taishi Ci's previous fight. He is once again ice-based, meaning earth should be your go-to for this fight. The good news is that you will likely notice that your attacks do pretty good damage to him. The bad news is that he gets a full second health bar after you deplete the first. In his second form, he does ridiculous damage to you, and takes a bit less. However, his attacks are essentially the same in his second form.
I once again recommend keeping your distance, because those melee combos are ridiculous to try to parry. I again constantly used rock pillars on him. Thankfully, most of his Critical Blows are pretty easy to see and parry. I also recommend bringing a second Reinforcement into this fight, if you can. I did my best to keep both Reinforcements alive, and it made it far easier to gang up on him when he was focused on someone else.
This was quite a challeging fight, but considering the moveset doesn't changing between the two phases, there isn't much to learn. It's more a matter of nailing the timing of the parries throughout the fight.
