How to unlock the Expert Spy achievement in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Definitive Guide
Its better to track this achievement with the one for Mein Leben known as "Ultimate Spy." Fun Fact, you only need to beat the last Volume in order to unlock the difficulty based achievements. The last volume for "Agent Silent Death" can honestly either make or break your run if you're trying to do a full run of all three volumes on the hardest/harder difficulty. You need to take it slow in the beginning towards the end and as quiet as possible crawling through every bit of cover you see, at the end when you bust the generator... that's around the time you need to book it and kill the commander.
Timing is everything.
YouTuber "Kreeper V" has an all inclusive video over the DLC. Its honestly the shortest and easiest one of the bunch minus the last mission.
The last volume starts at "9:46."

The "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty is the game's second hardest difficulty. Each of the three Volumes in this DLC can generally be tackled loud or stealthily, but you'll soon notice that stealth is almost always the viable option given Valiant's suppressed pistole. At other times, it's perfectly fine to go loud; sit at a doorway, lean out, and kill the enemies as they come funneling towards your position.
As always, keep these key tips in mind during your playthrough:
- Throwing knives can be picked up after thrown
- Your armor will be capped at 40
- Time slows down slightly when an enemy guard has you in their sights
- Killing Commanders while undetected prevents reinforcements from being called in
- Dual-wielding increases damage output, but reduces your accuracy
- Use the lean feature to your advantage when taking on enemies from behind cover; in fact, abuse the lean feature often
- While sprinting, the enemies will have trouble shooting at you from a distance
- Avoid using melee executions during combat entirely; the animation lasts too long
- Reaching certain sections of a mission will force the game to despawn enemies behind you, even if they were on alert
- Many, if not all sections of a mission will still be accessible after passing through them, allowing you be return and collect ammo, armor, or health
- You can distract enemies via throwing knives
Once you defeat General Dunkel at the end of the game, escape the base, and the final cutscene begins to play out, the achievement will unlock.
