How to unlock the All-Pro Warrior achievement in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Definitive Guide

Hi!

It appears that for all the DLC you need only to complete the final volume of each in Mein leben to unlock the achievements (thank you Level 75 Noob for pointing this out). I'll leave the below guide in case you plan on completing the entire DLC on Mein leben for whatever reason :)

Mein leben is basically the same as I am death incarnate! but you only have one life and are not able to save throughout your playthrough. The good news for this version of this achievement is that the DLC is split up into three volumes and you can do each volume in Mein leben separately. Each level only takes around 20 minutes making it considerably easier than in the main game.

You may be able to start the DLC in Mein leben but I recommend playing at least once all the way through death incarnate to get a feel for where you may have trouble and practice those parts a bit. Below I will have some general tips and a link to a Mein leben playthrough of this DLC.

Some tips:
-Joe gets the Unnecessary roughness ability, which seems to be the same as the Ram Shackles in the main game and can be useful for charging through enemies and instantly killing them
-Beware of explosives on the ground as they will explode and hurt you if you sprint into them
-Joe gets Canned goods to throw instead of a hatchet which only seems to instantly kill enemies with a headshot and can be difficult to aim
-You can use Canned goods to distract enemies or silently kill them
-Joe also regenerates armor when you pick up armor as long as you are not interrupted by damage (it will regenerate to 25, 75 or 100 depending on which is the closest to your current armor)
-Enemies seem less likely to hit you while you are leaning or sprinting
-Many triggers will despawn enemies behind you or make them stop chasing you
-Some areas behind you will continue to be accessible as you carry on so you can backtrack if you need health or ammo
-Practice with saves in I am death incarnate! so you are more confident with any section you have trouble with in Mein leben

Good luck!

Awesome walkthrough, Kreeper!

Question to you or Falcon: Do you guys know if I can shut off my console after completing a Volume and it still count as having credit?

I completed Volume 1 of "Mein leben," but can I shut off the console and come back tomorrow to Volume 2 and carry on without issue?

@BiggDope I’m almost certain that wouldn’t be an issue since you can die in a volume after finishing an earlier one and have it still count dance

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. Fingers crossed I pick this back up tomorrow and the achievement unlocks after Volume 3 :)

Yeah it should be fine, though I did it in one sitting (volume 3 did take me 3 tries) so I cannot confirm.

Another thing for the last mission ... you can go under the stairs all the way to the boxes on the wall and fight the end boss from there with both guns and throw a grenade front/ right for the normal enemys...there is a video on you tube from

Is it normal that every time you die you have to put the difficulty back to mein leben...
even if you have finished a level before on mein leben...everytime its starts on easy diff

@CLARION 85 Yes, that's normal about the difficulty change each time. That's pretty odd the chievo didn't carry credit over from different days, I've never heard of that before! I will update the solution with this info until we hear otherwise :)

Someone have issues with the dlc like me? I can't continue the game at my last save. The game kicks me back to the dashboard. Every time.

^Are you on the first mission at the robo dog section? It did it for me too there. From that point on I could not load any saves. Didn't matter if it was a manual or auto save, game would crash trying to load it everytime.

My advice is to try and load a save from before the dog section and to make a manual save right before getting on it. You'll have to make it to the end in one go from here.

Yes. My first crash was in the dog section. My last saves was after the dog section. I have to start new on im a death incarnate. They have to fix that.

Just making sure but after you finish a Volume on Mein Leben, is it normal that you have to re-up the difficulty back to Mein Leben then click the next Volume? (my Continue game never takes me to the next volume.. only the last CP of the previous Volume.)

Thanks in advance!

but let's see what others say, maybe the issue was I played the main game between the dlc a bit and thats why it did not unlocked for me...but congrats to all who complete the main game on mein lebensmile

So I can confirm that this achievement DOES NOT need to be completed in one sitting, I turned my console off, played different games, etc.

I completed Vol. 1 & 2 together on Mein leben & then came back to it today (about a week after finishing Vol. 1 & 2) and completed Vol. 3 & the achievement popped.

Does anybody know if you can fail a third chapter the first run and complete it on your second try, and still get the chivo?

@Fuzzy Vengeance - yep, you can fail volumes multiple times and still get the cheivo as long as you complete each one once on Mein leben

Thank for the info:) I’m pretty sure I’ve done all 3 on Mein leben, but I guess I need to play them through again;)

@Fuzzy Vengeance make sure you are toggling the difficulty to Mein leben every time you do a volume. Also, when you die and return back to main menu, you will have to toggle the difficulty back to Mein leben..

Could be the issue you’re having with the chievo not popping if you did all 3 volumes.

I can confirm you that are able to load other checkpoints between your Mein Leben volumes. I played volumes 1 and 2, then practiced a saved game I had on the final boss a few times before starting volume 3 on Mein Leben.

The under-the-stairs strategy that CLARION 85 posted worked really well for me.

Let's see if I understand, if I complete the volume 1 and 2 and die at 3 I just need to repeat only 3? Even on different days? Should I select chapter or continue?

Finally got around to this,
I only beat Volume 3 on Mein Leben and I got All-Pro Warrior and First team soldier.

I played all 3 volumes on Bring'em on first.
I'll try the same on the other DLC when I get around to it.

Thanks.
Something I noticed..... If you bring up the weapon wheel it can draw out enemies. Almost like the game is intentionally trying to screw you.

there is a really good start for the last fight with the giant robot. there is a staircase in the last location (check out nekov4ego run on Youtube). If you tucked well behind it the robot can't hit you with his fire and he won't be firing rockets. the normal enemies CAN hurt you from a distance but If you throw a grenade from time to time they'll give you enough time to kill the boss. I suggest Dual Sturmgewehr for the robot. keep an eye on your cooling thing too.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but that damn robot still hits me with its flamethrower even though I’m tucked away under the stairs. I sprint there, crouch, and start firing away. Is there something I’m missing?

In case you guys didn't know for the big robot. Try aiming for his arm that shoots rockets with your grenade launcher (around 3-4 shots) to destroy it. Then, 3 shots for the other arm and it's dead headspin

ox BlackJack xo - Yes, you should only need to repeat 3 even on different days and I would just select the volume since you have to start at the beginning of it anyway (but I'm not sure it actually makes a difference)

Got bad news for you guys. You only actually need to complete the final chapter on Mein Leben to get credit for completing the achievement. Did it with Joe and Wilkens, but I have no reason to believe ASD is any different. I wanted to see if I could do the chapters out of order since the 3rd act of the Wilkens DLC is far easiest. Turns out I didn't need to complete the other 2 at all.

This is way easier than the main game. The final battle is the only challenging spot.

Some additional tips:
-In the first area with commanders, there's an upgrade for the grenades in the back room that contains 1 commander and a dog. May be worth getting this for the final boss enemy.
-@32:52 in the video, instead of jumping down, run and jump to the shipping container in front of you. Jump across the next couple of shipping containers to the exit. By doing this the dog and heavy won't spawn.
-Before the final fight, back track to the previous room of enemies. When you re-enter this room, go into the small hallway straight ahead. Last one on the right. Inside one of the glass boxes on the wall is a pack of 100 health. Punch the glass, grab it and run to the final fight. You can enter the final fight with up to 180 health by doing this.
-When you need coolant during the final fight, stand far enough away from the coolant station so that the missiles won't reach it. Wait for the horn. When you hear it, run to the coolant station and fill up until you hear the horn again, then get out of there.

I won't be doing a video of my own for this as I don't think it's needed. The majority of this is pretty straight forward and with gimped stealth there's not much variation in how each section is tackled.

As stated elsewhere you only need to complete chapter 3 of "Gunslinger Joe" on "mein leben" difficulty.

I found a technique that makes the last boss fight section considerably easier. If you throw a grenade at each of the commanders and take them both out, you only have to deal with the boss and 5 normal soldiers instead of all the others when the alarms go off. Also once you become experienced at this you will have plenty of time to spare, so you will not need to fill up on coolant until after defeating all the enemies.

I have posted my clip showing where to throw the grenades, it takes some practice to get them both at once fairly quickly so i suggest practicing on "i am death incarnate" difficulty until you feel confident.

When you go for it i found it easiest to take out the remaining 5 men then the boss from the balcony instead of the stairs. Sometimes the 5th man hides, if this is the case then take out the boss first to save coolant but just be alert that he is there somewhere waiting to be killed by you later, or as in this video run, appearing to come out of thin air.

I have also linked a guide i followed with a few other skips and tips that really helped. All credit to the original owner as i do not own that video.

The "Mein leben" difficulty for this DLC is actually available from the get-go. When you boot up "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe," you can toggle the difficulty by tapping until the bar in the lower right-hand side of the screen is maxed out.

On this difficulty, which is actually set to "I am Death Incarnate," you will only have one life. Additionally, you cannot save. This means that if you die during your playthrough, you are sent back to the Main Menu. Fortunately, you are able to pause your game should you need a break.

For high-level tips and strategies involved with this difficulty setting, please refer above to "First Team Soldier" for more information.

A successful, uninterrupted playthrough on "Mein leben" should take just over one hour to complete depending on your playstyle. Feel free to utilize the commentary-assisted video walkthrough below, courtesy of KreeperV.

NOTE: After completing a Volume, your progress is saved and you are returned to the DLC's Main Menu. If, for example, you then die during Volume 2, you do not have to redo Volume 1; you will only need to redo Volume 2. This means that each Volume can technically be tackled individually on "Mein leben," which makes this achievement very manageable. All this being said, you must still complete all three Volumes in one sitting, meaning you cannot shut off your console after completing Volume 1 and then come back to complete Volumes 2 and 3 on another day.

To get this trophy you do not need to complete all three missions, just complete the last one. We select the third part, set the difficulty, , Main Liben, , and off we go. Works in all three add-ons.

In a fight with a robot, the easiest way is to run under the stairs that lead to the exit. His rockets and flamethrower won't reach you there. It is also worth immediately removing the commander who will be standing to his right.

Before entering this trophy, you can upgrade all the character’s skills - they will be preserved when choosing any difficulty, unlike the main story.
