if you missed the spot in the story, then the "Riverside" area you unlock after getting 15 deathcards it has a Zerstorer at the end. You need to shoot his arm off at the top, pick up the Ubergewehr and defeat him with it.

Does this robot continue to respawn if you kill it and come back again? Wondering if you’ll have multiple chances at this if you screw up the first time you visit this district.

yes going to your home base and then going back to Riverside area all the ai will respawn

Made a save right at this spot, but accidentally overwrote it with another save..guess I gotta go back.

Weird, didn't pop the first time I did it with a shotgun. Maybe it was too much damage with the shotgun. Thanks, good guide.

Towards the end of the Ausmerzer mission (where you have to hijack the flying nazi ship), you'll encounter two very large robots (bigger than the supersoldat you've been fighting up to this point). Kill one of them (I'd recommend the Kampfpistol with the rocket mod), then clear out all the infantry, otherwise they'll swarm you (and you really can't defend yourself while holding the Übergewehr). There is an area underneath the big arena that the robot can't reach, so you can funnel enemies in to mop them up. Finally, pick up the defeated robot's gun and kill the second robot with it. It's basically a black hole gun that you have to charge up with cn_LT in order to fire. It'll take a few shots (and you'll have to hide between each shot), but it'll go down easily enough.

Ah, utilizing that underground central area definitely helped.

For me the key was to not get over committed to using the Uberghewer, wanting to get one more shot in was getting me killed. Clearing infantry and softening up the last Zerstorer before taking potshots with the Uberghewer, dropping and relocating if he doesn't go down allowed me to get it on my first try with that mindset. It seemed like the infantry continued to spawn throughout the fight?

@CR4SHED A lot of infantry will spawn during the fight, but they shouldn't keep spawning infinitely.

Glitched for me, killed both with the Ubergewehr but never unlocked. That's two on this game now. Surely not that much to ask for a game to launch with a working list nowadays is it?

@Roose91 Did you use one of the Zerstorer's Ubergewehrs? I took one from a previous room to kill the first and nothing popped, but grabbing the first big guy's gun did the trick on the second one.

The enemies will end if you funnel them down the bottom, prop 20 + guys all up. This makes things a lot easier.

Following on from DarkWingSpartan, on the same area at the end of the Ausmerzer mission, before you take the elevator up to the area where these robots are there is one of the required guns on a crate, pick this up, take it up to the battle area and leave it somewhere you can easily get it after you have killed all the smaller soldiers and only have the two big robots. Collect your gun and get killing!

This achievement can either be obtained during the final boss fight of the main Campaign or at the very end of the Riverside, New York district. This solution will assume it is being attempted at the latter location.

Towards the very end of this district (this district can only be unlocked with eight Enigma Codes after all of the other Übercommanders have been killed and their death cards have been collected), there will be a Zerstörer guarding the Übercommander (or Commander, if replaying this district after already having killed the Übercommander).

For the purposes of this achievement, you must destroy one of the Zerstörer's arms in order to use its Übergewehr. This can be done by shooting at the shoulder joint on either arm until the armor pops off and then, later, its arm breaks off entirely. Now race towards the debris, pick up the high-tech weapon, and run away.

With some distance between you and the Zerstörer, begin to fire up the Übergewehr by holding . Release the trigger and the weapon will fire a powerful black hole-like energy projectile at the mech. Do this as many times as necessary (likely just two or three times) and the Zerstörer will be destroyed, thus unlocking the achievement.

If you missed it in the last battle, there is an opportunity to get when you kill the last 16th officer from the list, the robot stands with him on the shore, you shoot off his hand with the Ubergever and finish off the destroyer with it.

You need to kill exactly the Destroyer whose hand you shot off and exactly his Ubergever. Otherwise, the trophy may not drop. The Ubergever lying in front of the elevator on Ausmerzer did not work on both Destroyers.
