How to unlock the The Sky is the Limit achievement in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Definitive Guide

For the uninformed, a Battle Walker Takedown requires you to perform a takedown move (using cn_RS) on an enemy while using the stilts. Naturally, you need the battle walker for this (you can either get it in story mode, or in the Venus Transportation District). There are plenty of places to try this, but if you're having trouble, let me show you a very easy place to do it.

Go to the Manhattan Bunker District and play until you see one guard on a walkway looking in the other direction (about halfway through the mission). Double Tap cn_A, walk up to him, hit cn_RS, and the achievement is yours. Here's a clip of me doing it:

There is also a great place in the campaign before you recruit Horton. When you are supposed to help Horton's crew clear the street, there is a hole in the ground you can come up through on the left side. There are several enemies there. I saved as soon as I got to the hole and then waited until an enemy retreated from Horton's shots to me to get the kill with the walker activated. Took like 1 or 2 save reloads. You would need to pick the walker as your first contraption for this method I believe.

@Guirec730 Then the achievement might be glitched for you on the save file you're playing on (there are a few like that in this game). I hate to say it, but your best bet might be starting up a new save file and trying it there.

Here is a quicker solution than going through the nuclear bunker district. In the manhattan penthouse district, quickl run down the stairs and go to the back area where the kitchen type area is. Drop down the elevator shaft and then rise up on your battle walker and face the room you just dropped down from. If you can stand being shot at for a few seconds (use easy difficulty), an enemy will walk over to you where you can take him out and get the achievement.

The Battle Walker contraption is part of the new Wolfenstein 2 contraptions. Battle Walker will allow you to reach new heights. During the story you can only pick one of the three new contraptions. The other 2 contraptions can you find in the districts (chapters) so that you can get all 3 contraptions after the story. The Battle Walker contraption can you find on Venus (Transporthalle) in the hall where the big tank is located. Behind this tank is a small hole and there you find the battle walker contraption.

For this achievement replay after the story the Manhattan Nuclear Bunker district. Play until you see the signal from the Übercommander which is nearly at the end of this district. Create a manual savegame if anything goes wrong. Go through the first giant door and you will see a higher path where a guard is patrolling. This is the place for achievement Lift up with the Battle Walker with double tap cn_A, wait until the guard returns and kill them immediately with a melee attack with cn_RS

This is the earliest the 15G/Bronze Trophy "The Sky is the Limit" can be earned in Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus. During your headless phase, make sure you pick the Battle Walker Upgrade & this boost spot is not far into next mission. Save beforehand incase you mess up & spook him & kill him with a thrown hatchet by accident!

This achievement is best done post-story.

After obtaining the Battle Walker contraption (either through the story or by finding it in the Transporthalle district of Venus), use the War Map aboard Eva's Hammer to visit the Nuclear Bunker district of Manhattan. Once there, continue on through the area as if you were making your way to the Übercommander (or second Commander if you've already eliminated the Übercommander), which is nearly at the end of this district. When that Commander signal pops up, you should be right outside a giant rotating door. Make a manual save here. Now pass through through the door and you should see a lone Nazi soldier standing on a catwalk. Activate the Battle Walker by double tapping and then walk up to the catwalk. At this height, you should be able to melee/execute the soldier, thus performing a Battle Walker takedown and unlocking the achievement.

The method I found to work is to lure an enemy to a flight of stairs and melee them once they start going down/up. The best map I found to do this is Louisiana, Wall District.

In Orleans: Ghetto there are soldiers standing on containers, you sneak up on them from behind, stand on stilts at the same level as them and press

You just need to find a place with a high ceiling and a postcard 2nd floor where there are enemies, approach them on stilts and press

Can be easily done after completing the story in the Nuclear Bunker location, where you can also get a compression corset for an additional fee. quest (if you have not previously chosen it) to kill the commandant. There will be a small bridge right in front of you and a patrolman will walk along it, just stand on stilts and press R3
