How to unlock the Toy Collector achievement in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Definitive Guide


Max's Toys is a sidequest in and has to be picked up from Gizela Balog in the Headquarters (Eva's Hammer). Use the Enigma Codes to unlock areas to replay and collect missing items like Max's toys.

This isn't related to the achievement but more of a question about the guides. I make achievement video's and this game literally came out today how have you managed to get a guide out with all of the collectables already?

15/15 and nothing... The lady who gave me the mission thanks me for retrieving all the toys. Looks like I need to start over :(

Warning!: this achievement is missable if you don't talk to Gizela Balog in the headquarters (Eva's Hammer) first before collecting all of max's toys. Otherwise you have to replay the whole game again like I had to do.

In relation to the sidetracked achievement, it seems that you have to talk to Gizela before you collect all the toys to get credit for the quest.

Suggestion: add "make sure you get the quest before getting all toys."

I have this achievement, but not sidetracked because I never actually got the quest. The internet has several threads about this.

There are a total of 15 Toys to collect for Max.

These Toys are tied to a side quest given to you by Gizela Balog. After beating the main story, she can be found on Floor 3 in the central hallway of Evas Hammer, right outside of the helm.

There is 1 Toy per district and they can only be collected in the Übercommander Missions. They are usually found near the Übercommanders in each district.

Manhattan - 5 Toys for Max


Roswell - 2 Toys for Max


Mesquite, TX - 1 Toy for Max


New Orleans - 4 Toys for Max


Venus - 3 Toys for Max

This is best done post-story by visiting the several districts of the game via the War Map in Eva's Hammer.

The task can be taken after the second story visit to Manhattan (anti-nuclear bunker).

In total you need to find 15 toys for Max. The search task is given by Gisela Balogh on the submarine "Eve's Hammer". You can return for lost toys after completing the game if you activate all Enigma codes. A detailed guide to Max's toys for those who don't want or can't watch the video.
