How to unlock the Vampire achievement in Wolfenstein: The New Order - Definitive Guide
From where you start drop into the drain tunnel and follow it along. You then enter a corridor with a pistol on a chair and a health pack under it. Equip your knife, pick up the health and then run up the stairs. There is a German guard at the top, facing the wrong way, and just silent takedown him with the right thumbstick. Restart checkpoint and repeat anothe 4 times for the acheivement. Should take no longer than 5 mins.

After you climb the wall using the rope about halfway through the chapter, you need to pull a switch to let your allies in. Climb down the chain as instructed, then immediately crouch and pick up the health overcharge pack worth +40 health. Don't stop moving forward and a guard will appear from the right, turn right and walk forward. Simply creep up behind him and do a takedown.
If you're quick enough, you can keep going, turn right and get his buddy, who also has his back to you, before overcharge runs out. Or pick up more on the shelf you pass on the right as you approach the second target.
There's also a kampfhund lying down just ahead and a commander in a small room with his back turned to you.
You can use this to farm stealth takedowns/kills on guards, kampfhunds and commanders. I either finished off or did the entirety of the following perks using this method: Knife Throwing, Silent Shot (obviously using the silenced handgun instead of the knife), Vampire, Scout II and Assassin.
The gun silencer should come from the switches puzzle right after the second cannon, but you can drop down the hole at one chain and find one and restart checkpoint.
And dpad-right activates it!
Later in asylum first area climb the rubble in a corridor for silencer and go over rubble in door instead of stairs to stealth lower floor.
Note: All perk-based achievements can be obtained by re-loading the checkpoint and keeping progress. See video in description for details.
The video in the description shows an in-depth method for this achievement during the 3rd sequence. You must have yellow 'overcharged' health active, wherein you gain a temporary degrading boost to your health. Has to be done with a knife take-down and not a pistol/knife throw kill.
Also if you don't have enough health after you pick up that health pack, there is another large pack that is sitting in front of two crates side by side to your right and there are also 2 more smaller ones sitting on desk between that door you came out of and the glowing pillar in the middle.
Right after
As soon as you cut the chains of the prisoners you have to go through a vent in the ceiling. There is a health pack and a Commandant after you've fallen out of the vent into a Control Room
Note, Do not go for the health pack when the Commandant is looking to the right, wait for him to turn.
As mentioned in other guides, just reloading checkpoint works. Since you checkpoint right after falling down this is the perfect setup for this achievement and some other stealth perks
Disclaimer: I found out that you could do this earlier in the level, but those didn't count as they were special animations. You have to make sure the victim is Standing
On another note: when you come to the 1st commander, in the room closest to you is some health. Pick this up to overcharge yourself and get a kill towards another achievement for 5 stealth kills with over charged health. You can carry on your rampage of stealth kill downstairs if you wish; there's another 3/4 soldiers just waiting to have knives thrown at them!
Turn right and go up the stairs, then crouch at the top and takedown the guard on the catwalk, open the door and turn left to follow the patrolling guard. I stayed crouched and was able to catch up and take him down as he turned the corner. Turn right, while crouched and take down the guard. Turn back around and go to the room where The Knife is and take him down. Pick up the knives in the sink. Go back to the area with the elevator doors and proceed through the gate, turn left and get into the control room. Throw a knife at the guard.
Backtrace your path fully and pick up all the health along the way in each of the rooms and the closed medic door. Go back down the stairs and go up the ramp past the furnaces. Pick up both health kits which will put you in overcharge. Move through the room on the right and take down the guard up the small set of stairs.
Total:
Silent takedowns: dog, guard, catwalk guard, hallway guard, elevator guard (could be done knife throw if you kill The Knife first), The knife - 6 or 5
Knife throw: control room guard - 1 or 2(see alt above)
Overcharged: guard in the room left of start - 1
Restart checkpoint and repeat as necessary.
Stealth perk 6 is Vampire and it is unlocked by performing 5 stealth takedowns with overcharged health. These kills can be done in a variety of places throughout the game.
A good early place to farm them is at the beginning of Chapter 2. As you make your way down the stairs, crouch and go into the room to your right. Directly in front of you will be a +40 health pack, pick it up to overcharge your health. Now stealthily takedown the enemy right in front of you then continue forward and take out the next guy. There is another +40 health pack next to where he was standing. Pick it up and go left and stealthily takedown as many more soldiers as you can. If you get 5 then you are done, if not then simply restart the checkpoint and repeat the process.
The sixth stealth perk is Vampire. This perk unlocks the ability to receive health from performing takedowns on enemy targets.
In order to unlock this perk, you must perform the following requirement at anytime during the Campaign:

Once the cinderblocks are lowered, fall through the hole and you will notice a health kit next to you. Pick it up in order to overcharge your health and proceed down the narrow hallway next you. There will always be one guard in this hallway with their back turned towards you, so with your overcharged health, perform a silent takedowns, and then restart your checkpoint to grind out the remaining kills required for the perk.
