How to unlock the Quick regeneration achievement in Wolfenstein The New Order - Definitive Guide

Today were getting the Quick Regeneration achievement. To unlock the perk/achievement you must overcharge your health to 200+.

It becomes simpler later in the game due to health upgrades. But you can only acquire those in the Fergus timeline, my guide works w/ either timeline. The level we are getting this on is the first one before any plot choices. It is very helpful to find the pistol silencer in the room w/ the 3 switches. Now down to the walkthrough.

Shortly after scaling the building you will proceed to raise the gates for your comrades to get through by pulling a lever. After this you slide down the chain to continue.

In this room you will see a health pack for +40. Ignore and enter the hall. A guard should enter and turn away from you. (Assuming you have the silencer) shoot him in the head and turn right, you will notice another medpack at the corner/intersection where the guard appeared, ignore that one as well.

Sneak down the hallway and you will see a rather large room w/ a staircase going down. On your left as you enter the room is a crate that when broken has +80 hp. Don't break it yet b/c it will attract guards. Wait for the guard to move out of view then proceed to stealth kill the dog w/ a headshot.

Next to the dead dog is a room w/ a commander, you will then stealth kill him and enter the room. On the table is assorted food, eat the food for a boost, then backtrack and break the box for the +80, then backtrack to get the other 2 mentioned.

If you did it right you should have the achievement!! On a side note this is my first guide and any and all feedback/comments is appreciated. Also comment if -1 so that I can improve, thank you and enjoy!

It's a solid guide but a recommendation for the future - Break up your solution into easy to follow chunks in paragraphs. This makes it easier to read and follow.

Other than that, good job, +1 from me!

Also describe what the achievement requirement is....
Assuming by your post it has something to do with over powering your health???

I'll be sure to do that in future guides, but assuming you played the game the perk tells you what needs to be done to unlock it.

Xbox live's been acting up the past few days and many have had trouble unlocking achievements on the X1. It should hopefully unlock later. But when it happened to me w/ Guacamelee and Trials I had to re-unlock the achievements but redoing the indicated task.

I would maybe wait a couple days to see if it pops. But starting a new playthru would probably help. For Guacamelee I refought the last boss and for Trials I replayed levels.

@Arador

It may be server side and not the game. With the X1, it's not uncommon for the achievements to pop delayed. I once waited almost a month i believe. A good way to check, is to go to your achievements app; sometimes if this glitch does occur, the achievement will say "100% complete" or something along those lines, but it will obviously not be unlocked yet.

Hope that helps, sometimes waiting is the solution.

Which level is it? The guide doesn’t say. That’s a negative. Unless you fix it.

The guide clearly says which level in the second paragraph, I didn’t edit it either, haven’t touched the solution in years. Please read carefully next time before you comment.

The level being referred to is [Chapter 01 - Deathshead's Compound]. It's in the section immediately after sliding down the chain after climbing the tower and pulling a lever to raise the gate.

Chapter 06 - "London Nautica".

Shortly into the level, inside the building, you will be looking to Reach the Moon Dome - a fight scene prepares where many Nazis & and a Panzerhaund are ahead of you.

There are at least 3 +80 health boosts in this room - two to the right, about a 10 yard sprint between them. Collect these quickly and you will easily unlock this achievement, one that had caused me problems before this.

Let me know if you've got any queries!

The third tactical perk is Quick Regeneration. This perk increases the speed of your health regeneration.

In order to unlock this perk, you must perform the following requirement at anytime during the Campaign:

  • Overcharge your health to reach 200

TIP: So long as you loot enemy corpses and explore the Chapters for additional rooms of loot, you should get this done without much effort. However, if you are struggling to finish obtain this perk, it can easily be done inside the Laserkraftwerk laboratory during Chapter 6 as there are over five health packs that will overcharge your health over 300 easily.

Tactical perk 3 is Quick Regeneration and is unlocked by overcharging your health to reach 200 HP. Overcharging is when you pick up a health pack when you already have 100% health. There are various locations throughout your playthrough where you can overcharge your health by well over 100 HP.

The first very easy spot to do it is towards the end of chapter 3. After you have cleared out the west side of the compound you are supposed to return to the car but before you do make sure you have 100% health. Now detach the turret and use it to open the secret area below the eastern compound, this is the same area where you pick up the gold medallion. Refer to PowerPyx's collectibles guide: click here for the exact location.

Once you are under the compound go left and break open the two crates sitting there. In one of them there is a +80 health pack and around the corner to the right it a +20 health pack. Before you pick them up go outside and back to the top of the compound. To the right of where you took the turret there is a crate, break it open for a +40 health pack. Pick it up and quickly run back below the compound and pick up the +80 health pack to unlock this trophy/perk.

Another guaranteed spot you can overcharge well over 200 is during Chapter 6. After you drop the elevator and take the counterweight up you will view a cutscene. After the scene is over you will be in a lab, this lab has two +80 and multiple +20 health packs in it so reaching 200 will be no problem here.

There are numerous places in the game where this can be done, and the easiest ones are from Chapter 2 onward. It won't be hard to get this, even if you pick the Wyatt timeline.

However, the earliest place I found to get this is midway through Chapter 1, just before Oskar's Letter, collectible #4 if following PowerPyx collectibles guide. Just after the secret room where you get collectible #3 and the 1946 handgun silencer, you'll go up some stairs to a long corridor with a few Nazis and some stairs at the end. Going up these stairs, then heading right you'll see an AA gun and soon head outside. Before doing that, make note of the 6 health packs in this area.

There's a 40 health and a 20 health to the immediate left upon reaching the top of the stairs to reach this initial long corridor. Farther to the left is another 20 in the small hallway next to a crate. Just before the stairs at the other end of this corridor in the room with collectible #4 is another 20 health in front of the lockers. And up the stairs at the end, before you curve around right to see the AA gun, straight ahead and slightly to the right coming up the stairs in a corner next to a crate is another 40 health. This totals 140 health.

You can start with this 40 and then run down the stairs to where the collectible is, get that health, then head back to where you entered the area and get the other 3 healths. Even if you're slow, you have plenty of time to grab these as they total 140 health, and you won't lose 40 overcharge by the time you pick up the last one (I had almost 20 to spare when I grabbed the last one).

I made this video showing you how to get this done pretty easily during Mission 01 where you are invading deathead's compound.

The specific location is pretty shortly before you would do the turret section. It is the top floor of the building with the hidden passage behind the painting.

if you collect all the health upgrades, the perk will open on its own - in the second half of the game, the health level will be 150-180 and simply picking up a first aid kit will be a ding

The easiest way to get the trophy (if you already have 120 units of health) is the very first time you get into the rebel bunker:
1. Let's go to the second floor
2. Go to the farthest room where the door is open
3. We see a bed in front of us, press square and sleep
4. Next, when Blaskovets wakes up, on the nightstand on the right there will be a first aid kit for +80 health, take it, and the prize is yours
But there is one caveat: when I replayed it a second time, I just got a +10 unit statuette. health, not a pharmacy.

In the first chapter, after you open the gate in the castle, you are released along the chain. There will be an enemy in the corridor, another one on the right, next to him is a dog and an officer. There will be a box near the dog, it contains + 80 health, and there is one box in the corridor that you passed when you followed the second soldier, there is + 40 health. The main thing is that before this operation you have a full reserve of health.
