How to unlock the Armor upgrade I achievement in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Definitive Guide

If you want this perk ASAP, you can do this in the prologue. After you come down the elevator and kill the two soldiers, there are 5 helmets in this room. Reload your checkpoint. From where you spawn, there are 2 helmets in the room to the right. Then go through the room with all the guns to find two more helmets on the shelf at floor level in the next room. Then turn left and you'll see the Skyrim helmet. This one does NOT count as far as I could tell, but there is another helmet on the desk directly behind the one with the Skyrim helmet. That's 5 helmets. Reload your checkpoint 20 times and you can get this before you ever even start your first firefight!

This achievement will come naturally throughout playing the game, this requires you to pick up 100 helmets of armour, these are regularly available across the whole and game. After any fire fight search the room and pick up the helmets first before other armours, this is easy and just keep an eye out for them.

If you want to get this done as fast as possible, you can take out your pistol after a fire fight and shoot the remaining helmets off (melee works too) the dead enemies and pick them up.

Requirement: Collect 100 helmets

Helmets reward you with +5 to your armor. They can be found everywhere throughout the game and you are likely to unlock this perk quite early in the game. Just be sure to always try and pick up items by pressing near them. You can only pick up a helmet if your armor is not at max level (100). Once your armor is reduced from enemy fire then you can pick up some more helmets.

Once you have collected 50 helmets the perk as well as the trophy will unlock. You can track how many helmets you have collected by pressing the pad button and navigating to the ‘Perks’ tab.

The below screen shot shows what the helmets look like in the game.

The Armor Upgrade I perk unlocks the ability to overcharge armor.

In order to unlock this perk, you must perform the following requirement at anytime during the Campaign:

  • Collect 100 helmets

TIP: Throughout the game, you will often time come across empty helmets scattered on the floor, on desks and bookshelves, or sometimes just randomly propped up on a stationary object. Other times, enemies will drop helmets when they are killed. These helmets give BJ a small armor boost (5 points) so they're definitely worth picking up along your journey. Progress towards this perk will come naturally so there's no need to grind this.

You need to collect 100 helmets (armor), if you really want to knock out the trophy early, you can get it in the prologue in the first shootout, there are several helmets in the room, helmets also sometimes fall out from sfrits, kill everyone except one and restart the checkpoint.

The easiest way to get this perk and unlock the trophy is to farm in some location with a bunch of enemies. There are two ways to get it: difficult - shoot at the enemy’s head, then the helmet will fly off his head; THE SIMPLE METHOD - shoot all the enemies in the location, and then approach the bodies, shoot at the helmet and it will fly off, all you have to do is pick it up. Thus, after seven to ten runs you will open this trophy and receive a perk.
