Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

I was unsuccessful in using the other methods. I found a method that worked for me and hopefully some others that may be struggling.

First, in order to unlock this challenge map, you will need to choose to save Kessler toward the end of Chapter 6.

As for the challenge map, you will need to play on "I Am Death Incarnate" difficulty (at a minimum) and achieve a score of 17,200 points.

This method is not effective 100% of the time. The AI needs to come at you in a sequence that will give some combos. You don't need a lot of them, but some are mandatory. As you see in the video, run left and harvest some supplies and get your guns sorted. Take your time. The AI will not mess with you, and it takes a few for the stairwell to clear out. As you can see I arrived a little early. Once you get past that part, it is really easy. It just takes some luck to get the AI right, and headshots/explosions only. I was able to reach gold about 1/3 of the time this way.

I recommend at the start (the 6-second mark in the video) instead of immediately heading around the edge of the room, pop into the center and throw a knife at the civilian shambler's head for an extra 700 (300 Shambler+200 Thrown Knife+200 Head Shot) because you will need every point you can get on this challenge.

UPDATE: I'm removing the Uber "tip" as it seems most people aren't having any luck with it. I did all of these on I Am Death Incarnate difficulty and you probably should too.

To obtain Gold, you must be playing on "I Am Death Incarnate" or "Uber" difficulty. The gold medal is rewarded at 17200. For higher scores go for headshots (600 points) and try to keep your combo active as you receive an extra 200 points for each kill in the combo.

If you are wondering how to unlock this Challenge, you need to save either Kessler or Annette in Chapter 6. One path leads to unlocking the Bathhouse map, and the other unlocks Workshop.


Here is another solution from Game Boys of Colour if you're struggling.

Similar to the video from "Game Boys of Colour", I found that if you run all the way up the staircase to the door to the exit, that it's a good choke point for soldiers to run up to you. For some reason soldiers will tend to get caught up in groups a few levels down, so you'll usually only face 1 or 2 at a time.

Before you run all the way up to the top, at the foot of that staircase will be a Heavy Soldier attacking some Shamblers (if you time it right, the Heavy Soldier will be past the doorway already attacking the Shamblers. If you're too early, the Heavy Soldier will be there to greet you with his shotgun). Kill them all quickly with the semi-auto shotgun for ~1200 points to start off your attempt.

This combined with killing Shamblers and then using the sniper rifle to pick off enemies in the distance toward the end (you'll have to come down at least one level from the top for this), means you'll probably get gold very quickly. In my experience I got it on the 3rd attempt using this method, and I didn't rack up large combos, just the occasional +200 point combo here and there.

Better you play in Über Difficulty!

For me it was the most difficult. Tried MR BLACKMAGIK's solution but I always died.. I got 17,6k points so I share how I did it on "I Am Death Incarnate".

I stayed where you respawn. First try to kill 3-4 soldiers when the challenge starts and hide in the corner. Enemies will come to you, use your rocket pistol when 3-4 enemies nearby to you, than sniper rifle the rest. 4-5th tries and worked for me

Ps: Use your shotgun when heavy armor soldier approach you. Hope I can help with my solution, goodluck.

This chellenge is a bit tricky but if you know how it will easily pop!.
From the start go straight to the pillar in front of you slightly to the left . Place yourself against the pillar looking to the stairs to the right. Take out the couple of soldiers that appear.
Now run up the steps and to the right , kneel down behind the car and look straight down the corridor. Shoot away ! keep the combo running. It is very easy to re load from here as well. Hope this helps.

I was able to get it using a combination of MrBlackMagik's and xxvadi's guides. Props to both of y'all. I ran up the left steps like MrBlackMagik did. I sniped the 4 zombies. I grabbed the assault rifle ammo, then ran back to the car at the start, like xxvadi did. I stayed behind that car and poked my head out to get head shots and combos. I used the explosive flare gun on a group AFTER I turned them to zombies, and full clipped the shotgun on 3 that ran up past the car. One of the shotty guys always stayed in the middle. He was my last guy. Took several tries, but I got 17900, 700 more than you need. Good luck
