How to unlock the Time Out achievement in Wolfenstein - Definitive Guide

I did this in the Hospital after you fight the boss, you have infinite energy so just kill the few soldiers that come in and stand around for an hour, simple as that.

Mire power is the Time freeze power, you acces by clicking left on the pad. Best place to get it as mentioned.

There are a few areas where you have infinite veil power to get this done. In my case, I noticed you have infinite veil power right after you get the shield in the caverns (second half of the farm mission). After standing there with the shield on to get Bubble Boy, I killed everyone and switched to the mire power, then stood there for an hour.

Unfortunately I wasn't thinking about this when I was at those parts. For those of you who finished the missions mentioned above, don't feel like redoing them, and happen to have a turbo controller, you can do what I did.

Find one of those canister that you can replenish your veil energy with, activate mire (away from canister. If you're too close it will destroy the canister.) Turbo Y then just stand facing the canister. Leave it for an hour.

Is there any later missions which give you infinite veil? I fucked up and completed the farm and hospital missions without thinking

i did this on the airfield level. when you have to blow 6 shields to get to the runway, the game will trigger a save. fall back and you will be in a big open area with 2 huge viel pools. just do as perviously suggested and just stand in the pool and use Mire, refill repeat. with all Viel upgrades you will have about 15 sec of Mire time, and then 3 sec of refill time. i had used the power quite a bit and this still took 45 minutes of standing in the pool and doing nothing but Mire. just remember, DONT DIE i almost died by shooting a few geists when i got bored.

In addition to Sharuyin’s guide about using the Hospital stage for an infinite meter; you can replay missions. Using a campaign save prior to the Airfield, go to the objectives list in the journal and scroll down to see the hospital mission. Press ‘Replay’ and run through the mission, kill the boss and do whatever you need to with the infinite meter. Hope that helps and hello from 2022.

If you miss this at the two locations where you have unlimited veil powers, you can stand next to a power canister while using Mire, and keep recharging. The canister allows you to keep recharging on the fly, unlike the veil pools. Keep recharging for an hour and the achievement is yours. Just make sure you don't turn on Mire near the power canister, or you'll blow it up.

This is gotten in the same way as the ‘Honorary Geist’ trophy. Just use the Mire power for 1 hour in total. Unfortunately you will use the power more quickly than you can pick up veil energy, so you will have to keep sucking up energy before you can use it again. To get it out of the way quickly there is an easy way. In the room where you pick up the Shield Power crystal there is unlimited veil energy, just stand in this room with the Mire power on for 1 hour.
