How to unlock the American Football achievement in Wolfenstein: Youngblood - Definitive Guide

The crush ability can be selected from the skill tree.

To make kills with this ability you must sprint cn_LS into enemies.

Upgrading the damage for this skill helped immensely so I’d recommend that.

First, you must have this ability purchased. Upgrading it makes it better.

Anyway, there are two ways to get this achievement.

1: You can run at them by moving towards the enemies and clicking cn_LS.

2: You can press cn_A, then cn_B.

I can personally confirm the second method works.

If you start the game with Jess, the ‘Crush’ ability is unlocked by default. If you chose Soph, you can unlock this perk in the Power tree for 5 ability points.

To use the ability, simply run into an enemy while sprinting (holding down analog-left.png). For unarmored enemies, chances are that they will die in one hit, but for light armored enemies, it may take two or three, depending on how much health they have left. Using Crush on heavily armored enemies requires the purchase of the ‘Brawler’ perk in the Power tree.

To increase the damage, if you’re leveled up and have enough ability points, you can purchase the ‘Two-Time Crush’ and ‘Quake Crusher’ perks in the Power tree.

If you have not unlocked this by the time you have completed the campaign, keep replaying the first mission (‘General Winkler’/‘Der Nachtfalter’) by speaking with Abby. Most of the enemies in this mission are not wearing armor and generally die with one hit, but some might take two or more depending on if you’ve purchased the upgraded abilities. Run through the mission until before you reach General Winkler then return to the Catacombs by holding button-x.png. Keep replaying the mission until the achievement unlocks.

Note: If their body ‘explodes’, the kill will count towards A red mist (10G).

This is not tracked separately in the ‘Statistics’ menu, but counts towards your overall kills.

We improve the crush skill to at least the second level. We reload the mission on the airship on the easiest difficulty and simply sprint towards the soldiers and mechanics.
Just two passes and the trophy is yours.
