If you start the game with Soph, the ‘Cloak’ ability is unlocked by default. If you chose Jess, you can unlock this perk in the Power tree for 5 ability points.
To use this ability, press to make yourself temporarily invisible. You only have a limited time to stay cloaked, but purchasing higher tiers of the ability allows you to stay cloaked longer, allows a full range of movements and recharges the ability faster.
Activate the ability and sneak up on unsuspecting, unaware enemies; it is best to stay crouched so you don’t make any noise. Deactivate the ability and kill the enemy in any way you see fit (melee or shooting), and if they die within three seconds, it counts. Note that the more armor the enemy has, the more damage they will take. You have a greater chance at killing more enemies if you use stealth, but if enemies have been alerted, you can still use the ability as long as you do not get shot. Repeat this 50 times for the achievement.
If you have not unlocked this by the time you have completed the campaign, keep replaying the first mission (‘General Winkler’/‘Der Nachtfalter’) by speaking with Abby. Note that if you are being shot, you cannot cloak, so find cover, cloak, then resume. Run through the mission until before you reach General Winkler then return to the Catacombs by holding . Keep replaying the mission until the achievement unlocks.
This is not tracked separately in the ‘Statistics’ menu, but counts towards your overall kills.
