The achievement description is a little misleading, you do not need to get 30 combos in arcade, you need to get a streak of 30 combos. which means you need to get a 30 word combo in arcade. to get a combo find a word, then find another word before the gauge in the top left runs out.

Just like what Wallless Fury stated, you have to get 30 in a row to get this achievo. which means you cant make a mistake when selecting the word from beginning letter to the last and vice versa. its easy if you just follow the highlighted letter the game gives you to help and you pretty much have plenty of time so dont rush it.
