Endless is a wave based mode where mobs continuesly get stronger and take less damage. No champions or bosses feature from what I've seen.
I recommend the first level as it doesn't have any teleporters which removes temptation or laps in concentration.
This level of endless doesn't have many mobs and your main problem is kaboul tuskers, this are high armoured mobs who ignore you and continually head towards the gate. The acid floor trap and razor tower are your best bet. Only building these and fully upgrading them will make your life much easier.
Finally I would recommend doing this co-op, I did this with ease with me and two others. We were all mercenarys.

The, Pants, Party
On any of the 13 levels that you must do in Endless mode up to wave 20, make sure you never use the teleport system to pause the action and move across the map to a different glyph. Most of the earlier levels have good choke points that you'll stay close to, so you won't need to quickly move around on those.
Note: This does not count on the first level since it doesn't have any teleports.
