How to unlock the Heroes in the storm achievement in World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap - Definitive Guide
Best done with 2 people, if you have 3 it increases the size of the map.
My group of 3 ran through the first 3 missions on endless going for this achievement and I will help you out the best I can.
Now there was a drastic change from endless map 1 to 3, I was lvl 100 on all 3 but 1 of my friends gained 40 levels and the other gained 30 lvls (lowest level started at lvl 40).
Map 1:
Possibly the easiest of the 3. You want to focus on building essence traps in the beginning to gain essence while building saw blade towers (more upgraded= better) and a upgraded gun tower for each side/area they come from. Later you will want all Mechanical traps to be poisen geisers. These traps will be your best traps to use against the armored enemies.
Map 2: You will fight hordes and giants only. This one is the toughest of the 3 due to having so little traps to work with. Build essence traps in the beginning then swap to fully upgraded abyss pit (one that autokills). You will want to use the pull ability with any character and yank units into those pits when the giants enter because all the little guys will explode on the giants killing them or dealing massive damage. You can also use the Giant killing tower (one with a skill on it) if upgraded enough it will also heal you and allies. Mechanicals should be turrets for slowing. And have ice ground traps.
Map 3: essence traps in beginning of course. Build loads of giant killing towers, all summoning pads with fully upgraded wolves. If giant towers are next to the wolves they will also heal wolves. Also use the cannon towers (last mechanical tower). Mechanical ground traps should be geisers to increase wolves damage (physical damage weakness to enemies). All back mechanical towers build fully upgraded guns, those will help slow any enemies that make it far enough. Lastly build the other ground traps as ice traps to slow the enemies.
Build your Hero's as far as possible from trap abilities especially on the first 2 maps because they give you so little traps to work with. Abilities that pull are useless against giants. They also cannot be insta-killed or teleported, your Hero's will be key to killing them.
Good luck everyone!

There is a way to do this solo (sort of)
If you have a character than can easily get past wave 30 in single player then all you have to do is go into multiplayer and get any person to join your game start Endless mode and even if the other person quits and you are left alone it will pop up once you start wave 31.
I just got it with the other person quitting on me on wave 1.
This is just an alternative option for those who do not have other friend who play this or have trouble setting up gaming sessions.

Thanks for confirming this, worked just fine for me - set up a session with myself and my second account. Second account quit before 1st wave started and achievement popped upon hitting wave 31. Best thing about this is that you can increase the speed of the game when the other person leaves.
