How to unlock the Needful things achievement in World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap - Definitive Guide

The crafting tab is the fifth one along on the World Map, next to the store.
You craft in the same way as you buy items from the store, the cheapest way to get this achievement is by crafting the Body Armour which costs 200 Gold as well as one of each gem, for which you would need a total of 4,000 Gold and 20 of each gem (gold and gems are gained from the chests that appear at the end of each mission).
You can see how much gold & gems you currently have on the crafting menu at the bottom of the panel on the right hand side, below the items in your inventory.

Important note: you need to finish the first three levels for unlocking this.

To craft an item, you will need to finish the first few levels first. After that, the crafting menu is available, and you can create unique items with random bonuses with the gems you find in each level. You'll likely want to spend your gems upgrading Godlike items instead of creating weaker items this way, so just make 20 of the cheapest ones you can to get it out of the way.
