World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap

Scenarios unlock after you complete the 13 campaign mode maps at any difficulty level.

Once completed 6 trophies will appear on the World Map that will give you the chance to attempt scenarios (these can be accessed by pressing the button to pick the next map beyond the Mission XIII "Inkheart".

The 13 campaign mode maps also have scenarios, these can be played by selecting the mission, pressing the button as you would normally do to Select Map, and then using the button to change the Game Type to Scenario mode.

Under the scenario tab there are 9 different parameters you can change to increase the scenario difficulty. I would recommend not changing any of them in order to attempt this achievement. The enemies are a lot more difficult in this mode as it is.

I completed the scenario on the first map "Darkmoor" as a Mercenary. I would recommend using Monster Traps and investing in the III Upgrade under the "Traps" tab in order to produce 4 monsters per trap above all else as they seem to significantly slow down the onslaught, as the enemies spawn from all three spawn locations from the first wave.

I also had the "Mark of the Craftsman"and "Mark of the Keeper" skills upgraded to Level 10 to ensure maximum possible starting Essence, along with Tier 2 Skill "Mark of the Serpent" & Tier 1 Skills "Shoot" and "Poison Bolt" to make sure that my attacks were causing continuous damage to the enemy.
