World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap

I've received several messages about the game being patched, so hopefully this will unlock now as it should.

***Solution for glitched Veteran Hunter***

If your achievement didn't unlock when it should have and your having no luck unlocking on other characters, follow the steps below.

WARNING: follow the steps precisely or you risk losing your save.

1. Disconnect from Xbox live. Either through settings or unplug the cable.
2. Goto My Games->Deathtrap WOVH->Manage Game->Saved Games
3. Delete your local save. (As your disconnected it should only give you the option to delete your local save)

4. Start a new game with a new character. I chose the mercenary and played on hard. Take the skills that increase XP earned for monsters killed by you and your mechanical traps. Also complete any side quests for the extra XP.
5. DO NOT START THE FINAL MAP. You must reach level 20 before attempting the final map. I managed it by the end of map 12. If you're short on XP, you can replay any mission that had a side quest but you will only get the XP from completing the side quest again not the map.
6. Once you reach level 20 unlock any tier 3 skill the quit out back to the main menu using the red X so the game saves.

7. Quit the game completely. Go back to the saved games and delete the local save again. MAKE SURE THE SAVE IS DELETED BEFORE THE NEXT STEP.
8. Reconnect to Xbox live, start the game up and let your main save sync from cloud. You should have the achievement pop and still have your original save file.

You unlock tier three skills when you get to level twenty. I found the quickest way to do this was to run through tier 1 campaign on hard for the added exp rewards. Using a mercenary made this much easier.

This achievement is currently glitchy and still hasn't popped for me and I'm lvl 24.

Tier 3 skills are unlocked when your character reaches Level 20 and are found on the second tab along the bottom on the world map.

I unlocked this after completing the original campaign at 1 Star level and after re-completing the first 5 maps at 2 star along with the quest on map III ("Defeat Lumbered Beast").
