Destroying 20 ships shouldn't be that difficult. Playing with a lower tier ship (like the tier 3 U.K one I forgot what it was called) can make it easier because you go quicker and your shots recharge faster. You can get this in a few games if you are relatively good at the game.

I believe it does not. As far as I know, standard battles are considered the standard multiplayer rounds.
