You can do this offline/online but works better offline as the 3 AI's will not set the mines off even if they walk in front of it even though you're disarming. Bare in mind that the zombies will set off the mines if they do so be warned before you start to disarm.

At the beginning of the mission, you'll start outside the base and you can follow the markers towards the objective to look the bodies for the keycard. Bare in mind to traverse carefully as you take quite a bit of damage if you walk into the mines range so be wary. In total inside the base, I counted 11 just in the first bit but it might differ with different playthrough. When you found all the mines, just exit to main menu and restart the same chapter and level.

By that time will unlock the achievements in no time.

The fastest way to obtain this achievement is to repeat Mission 3 of Episode 2 in offline mode.

You will reach a point almost immediately where you have to find a keycard on some corpses, this is when the mines you can disarm will begin to show up.

If you do this offline instead of online, your teammates can't steal your disarms, destroy the mines, set them off, etc. If you make your way around the base there are usually ~10 and you may or may not have to do a simple exit and load back up if you get lucky with your spawns.

You will see red lasers peeking out from corners or even just in the middle of your pathways, make sure the zombies or yourself don't walk into these, for they WILL explode. Try to make your way to the sides of them carefully or behind them and press and hold to disarm them. Do this a total of 10 times and your achievement will pop!

Episode 1 mission 3 Hell and High Water. Just over halfway through the level there is a spot to easily grab 2 turrents and 4 mine defuses for both this achievement and the "Friend of machines" achievement
