How to unlock the Going Solo achievement in Worms 2: Armageddon - Definitive Guide

Well I personally didn't find the missions hard until I got to the last few missions (30-35).

To unlock the last 5 missions you will need to buy them from the shop for 100 coins each. When in the shop keep pressing RB until you see the campaigns listed.
Campaign 1 refers to mission 31, campaign 2 refers to mission 32 etc...

Once you have bought all of them you will be able to select them on the campaign mission select screen.

When doing the campaign myself I was struggling and decided to wait while someone posted some guides on youtube to help. I was in luck and managed to find videos for mission 30-34 but not a video for 35. After finishing 34 I went onto 35 and completed it on my first try.
The trick to mission 35 is to stay under the ground and away from the other worms. As I remember you have unlimited blow torch so use that to your advantage. A lot of the time the worms will kill and damage themselves anyway.
I'd recommend letting it go into sudden death and then just before you drown, teleport up to the top and finish the other worms off.

Here are the videos I used:
(I have asked the owner of the videos for the right to use these)
The first video is missions 30,32 & 33, The second is mission 31 and the third video is mission 34.
Sorry they're mixed up and hope this solution helps you.

I beat 32 with the patch installed, it's harder and you'll eat 2 or 3 airstrikes. Luckily one of them launched me over the whole level to land beside the worm at the end lol. I said thank you with a flaming fist to the face.

Note on mission 32: You can still use the girders to protect your forward advancing guy... you just need to move up the second guy too. You can only use girders within a certain radius of the active worm, so try to have him tag along a bit behind (although sometimes mine destruction from the first worm's trip makes this impossible).

I do not have the achievement yet, but just wanted to commend you on this guide. It looks to be very informative, and has videos...I don't think anyone could ask for anything more. Thanks man!

Mission 35 isn't that bad. The only problem is the AI fluctuates between "complete moron" and "well, that's just not humanly possible" difficulties. But I agree, dig yourself a tunnel on that one, pop out and blow up someone if you can, and retreat.

Is there a way to keep track of the missions I completed? It's been over a year, and I remember beating 1-30, but I don't remember if I beat 31 to 35 (1 or 2 maybe?? arggg).

Completed missions are green (the circle on the mission select screen is green). Every non-completed mission is orange.

Thanks for the videos!

Thanks for these videos they were helpful. I thought I would share a general tip: if you are struggling to direct grenades throws through tight gaps (Mission 31 in particular for me) equip the shotgun first, line up the longer dotted sight line to your desired aim, then re-equip the grenade.

To those who can't get mission 32 to work using the method above because the girders won't reach across the map, a title update (patch) has come out since that video was made. You'll need to clear your system cache (search Google for info) and when you start Worms 2 up, DO NOT update. The girders will then work, and you can install the update again later.

I have no idea how you're meant to complete mission 32 with the update installed, I guess someone at Team 17 messed up with that one.

While you're doing this, you'll probably find the girders useful for mission 31 also.

The last two videos are not available to view and the video for 32 is useless because you can’t deploy the girders without getting close

The Single Player campaign in Worms 2: Armageddon consists of 35 levels, some require you to defeat all enemy worms, whereas other levels require you to complete a puzzle. The final 5 levels must be bought, don’t worry though, by completing the first 30 levels of the campaign, you will have enough money to buy everything from the shop. Once you complete level 35, the achievement will unlock.

There are a total of 35 missions that must be completed for this trophy (the last 5 of which must be purchased from the In-Game Shop.) The campaign consists of two sections - Deathmatches and Puzzles. As previously mentioned in the Road Map, the Deathmatches are simply matches against the AI which get progressively harder throughout.

Remember to think strategically when facing the AI, especially towards the end of the Campaign - don't leave your worm out in the open, use cover to your advantage and don't use all of the powerful weapons straight away, as you never know when you may need them in an emergency to tip the tide of battle. From around Mission 20 onwards, the AI start to become much more accurate and you begin to be massively outnumbered, so these missions may take a few tries, and will definitely require tactical thinking.

If you start well protected in cover, try and stay there if possible and use the Blowtorch to dig your way around. When you dig all the way through and emerge from your tunnel, don't leave it behind. Take shots at the enemy and retreat to the safety of your underground network. Failure to retreat to cover will result in an early death, especially during the later missions. Water will be vital here, so make it your main aim to kill as many enemies as possible in this way - it'll save you a lot of ammo which can be used for those worms which cannot be knocked into the sea.

The other section of the Campaign is a range of Puzzles which require you to reach the end location using the limited weapons in your Inventory, sometimes under a Time Limit. Tips on how to complete these Puzzles can be found here: Worms 2: Armageddon - Puzzle Tips

You need to complete all 35 missions in campaign mode. It will be both regular matches and various puzzles. The trophy shouldn't cause much difficulty.
