I will give you a step-by-step method of getting this achievement through local play.

Requirements: 1 controller, 5 minutes. absolutely nothing else.

From the main menu:
- Local Match
- Add Team: Teamsters, The Biz, Geezers, Mavericks (or the first 4 options that don't have a screen icon next to the team name, this adds 4 player controlled teams to the game)
- go 'down' on the left stick or dpad to 'Game Style' and hit Y to create your own
- name it anything.
- hit left bumper (brings up weapon options)
- hit the left stick to the left 14 times or right on the Left stick 28 times to bring up Armageddon.
- hit down to bring up ammo, then hit left to assign it to infinite
- Scroll down and save your new gametype
- your gametype should be now listed under 'gamestyle'. if it is not, select scroll until it is selected.
- hit 'start game'
- now you are selecting the map you want to play on. select the middle icon on the left, and hit it until the picture on the right shows a map that is not a) enclosed by a roof or b) too vertical. (the ideal map is a flat island. it can be bumpy and not flat, but flat is ideal.
scroll down to the bottom option on the left (a check mark to approve the map) and hit 'a'
- once in the map hit 'b' to bring up your weapons, hit left once, then up once to select Armageddon with a (bottom right hand side of the weapons panel).
- hit a to fire Armegeddon.

you should kill at least 8 worms. if you are having trouble first a) retry with a different map b) if still having trouble consider editing your gametype and setting it so the worms have minimum health.

I got this naturally in one of the earlier deathmatch missions in Battle Pack where the enemy worms are often packed together and have only 30 HP.

I had to tweak this slightly to get it to work, but it definitely was better than the other solutions listed here that didn't work at all (Training was getting things into a state where Achievement requirements were being counted but nothing was popping when counts were met; I had to quit back to the dashboard and relaunch the game to fix it, which brought my counts back to where they were). Armageddon was fifteen clicks left, not fourteen :P but more importantly, I found that although it is random which team goes first, only the first team selected, the RED team, was eligible to earn Achievement progress. So what I had to do was have worms from other teams "skip go" until it gave me a turn for a red-team worm, THEN launch Armageddon. (Which then worked beautifully.)

The mileage of others may vary; things might be different due to updates/DLC, but for myself in March 2016, this is my best guess as to what's going on.

The easiest way to get this without unlocking anything at all would be to set up a custom game style and make sure you have infinite Teleports enabled (Help & Options > Customise > Manage Game Styles > Create Game Style).

Then start a local game with 4 players on at least two teams - can add more if you wish to increase the chances of getting this. Now for every worm, use the Teleport to Teleport them somewhere that has ground close to water that can be taken out easily. When all of your worms are in that same spot, use a dynamite to take out the ground beneath them, they should all fall in the water and drown and if 6 or more of them do, you'll get this achievement.

It even counts if you kill your own worms in the process just to clarify so don't hesitate to sacrifice a few of them if not all.

A very simple way to get this achievement is in Single Player -> Training -> Firing Range 1. Pause the game and select “Add Dummies”. I recommend you place more than 6 just in case some don’t die. When the dummies are in place, select a powerful weapon such as the Holy Hand Grenade, Armageddon or Concrete Donkey and fire it at the dummies. If this doesn’t work, you could place the dummies on the edge of the map by the water. Place a dynamite or mine next to them, when it explodes, it should knock them into the water, killing them.

This trophy can be achieved in Mission 30 of the Campaign. When you near the end of the mission, you will obtain the "Armageddon" weapon which will wipe out all six enemy worms when you use it.
