I got this achievement by going into training, then choosing one of the Firing Range levels where you can mess around without consequences. Even if you haven't unlocked the holy hand grenade yet, it's still available here. Choose it, throw it, and the achievement pops.

First you'll need to earn 200 credits by completing the tutorial or campaign missions.
Go into shop on the main menu, and purchase holy hand grenade.
Go into Local Match, and start playing game style beginner. Wait 4 turns for holy hand genande (its 1 up and 1 right from lower left of the weapon select) and use it to get the achievement.

If you go into Local Play and create your own game with the Y button you can set Holy Hand Grenade to be available on your first turn.

You should know the drill by know, from the Main Menu; select Training -> Firing Range 3. Once the game has loaded, bring up the weapons panel with 
and select the Holy Hand Grenade with 
. Close the weapons panel and aim at the ground. Tap to drop the Holy Hand Grenade, when it explodes, the achievement will unlock.
