To defeat The evil Lord Mesmer
You must destroy the structure he is in, kill all his minions and lastly kill the evil lord himself (Which he himself doesn't fight back).
Once you take out his minions you are basically done, as long as you don't fall in the water or somehow hit yourself with your own weapons.
