How to unlock the General of the North - Ai Nengqi achievement in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers - Definitive Guide

For some reason, this achievement took a while to unlock, so be aware. I had to restart the game to get it to unlock.
After lighting the three towers, don't go to the main boss. Explore the area and find Nian Suichang near a closed door. Continue exploring and you'll find an enemy with the key to this door.
You must defeat this boss before defeating the main boss of this area. You must summon Nian Suichang for this battle for the sidequest, so use the whistle.
Requires confirmation: Don't let Nian Suichang die to the boss. Try to keep him alive. If anyone received the sidequest rewards even though he died before the boss died, I'll update the guide.
The boss has two phases. In the second phase, his weapon catches fire. He uses a bow that can fire three electric arrows at once. Even with the NPC help, it can be a difficult battle.
I used the "Divine Power" spell to increase the damage of the next attack. But do it your way. When the boss is distracted, try attacks that are harder to execute when fighting alone. More damage, better.
