for this boss fight i recommend using the spell Echo of lu Bingzhang.
to get to this boss fight you want to start at the Lu mansion shrine go down the elevator then make a left and go down the hill to the BIG blood pool then make a right follow the path till you get to fire and go up the hill on your left and follow the path till you get to the top and there will and a horse at the top that spawns just ignore it and go up the ladder on your right once up the ladder follow the path till you get the bridge you can knock down go across it and go on the right path till it splits in two then take the left path till you get to a guy sitting at a fire then make a right then go Stright ignore the enemies and the boss fight is at the end of the path on the left (you can go up the on ladder on your right after the guy at the fire and unlock a shortcut)
for this fight stand in the middle of the arena and wait for an attack if the boss begins to pull you towards him just turn and run the other direction then if he begins to blow fire go towards the left side of the arena but be careful there are enemies that will grab you once your there run towards its head and get a hit in after that if he summons the black tree like things ignore them and watch for his next attack which will be red balls run towards him but not all the way once the second ball fly's out run towards the left side of the arena and dodge the red ball if the boss lifts his right arm with a white wind around it run up to him on the right side be careful not to run all the way up so you don't get hit and get like 2-3 hits in then get away because when he lifts his arm it dose damage Durning the fight keep using the spell to do damage

No, this boss doesn't have two phases. This is the kind of boss that requires no effort to defeat.
Use the first spell the game gives you when the boss becomes unreachable to physical attacks. When his "hand" sticks to the ground, attack as quickly as possible. When the boss "head" is close to the ground (after he burns the entire arena, just dodge to the far left), try to attack it if you can. Very easy!
