All you need to do is win just 1 title match for this achievement in the WWE Universe mode with your custom created superstar. What I did was win the MITB Ladder match at the said PPV and as soon as I won that match (and that respective achievement) I immediately cashed it in at the same PPV against the World Heavyweight Champion.
All I did was start that title match and it will give you the option to cash in your MITB briefcase. Win the match by pin fall or submission and the achievement is unlocked.

After you win your #1 contender match, you will be put in a title match at the next PPV. Win and you will get this achievement. You can’t get this by simming.
