The other solution is good, but if you want a quicker way to obtain this achievement then follow my guide.

First, add a team with your created superstar and then any other superstar of your choosing.

Now when there is a tag team title match, click RB and then substitute your team in the place of the number 1 contendors.

Now when you win, the achivement wont lock because you put yourself in the title match, however, once you have succesffuly defended the title the achivement will pop.

Simple. Create a team with your custom superstar and anyone else you want. Now delete every team apart from yours and the champions. This will make your team the #1 contenders and you'll get a title match against the champs at a PPV. It helps to win the matches you get put into in Raw and Smackdown against the champs before the PPV. Please note you might not get a title match at the first PPV but it will happen.

I was doing this as the previous posters were saying but didn't have a shot a the title... when Otunga and Mcgui... lost the title I deleted their team...

My team was then the #2 contender behind LoD... but I was never put on a #1 Contenders match... When it was PPV time it was always Demolition vs LoD (and we can't delete or edit those teams because they have other championships)

This repeated many times... so when I finally had enough what I did was:

In a PPV were there was a Tag Team Championship match, I just EDIT the participants in the match and put the team with my CAW's in the challengers place... I played the match and won the title... got no achievement...

Then simmed to the next PPV and defended the Title against the #1 contenders and the achievement popped...

I think this is the best and fastest way to do it
