How to unlock the Off Script scenario cleared! achievement in WWE 13 - Definitive Guide

This is the last Chapter of the 'Attitude Era', and is available to play toward the end of the Wrestlemania chapter.

Having got this far you will now be familiar with the Bonus Objectives, and the general way to play this mode.
'Off the Script' is no different, and it's actually the simplest chapter - except for one ANNOYING match; Jericho Vs Road Dogg.

This is essentially a mini-guide for this match, as the rest of the chapter can be completed in around 10mins, and should present no problems along the way.

So, onto the match....

You play as Jericho, and your two objectives are to perform a Liontamer, and then to Power-bomb (Finisher) Road Dogg through a table to intentionally get DQ'd, both need to be done inside 5mins.

From the start, I attacked Road Dogg with strikes, then Irish-whipped him out of the ring, which allowed me to taunt and build my Finisher meter. Always think of taunting, as you need to hit two Finishers in 5 mins.

Around the 4min mark you should be able to hit the Liontamer - knock him down in-ring, stand near his legs and press 'Y' when the prompt appears.

Now, it gets interesting.....

Basically rinse-and-repeat the striking/taunting cycle, and when you fill the Meter for the 2nd time, use the Signature Move on him outside the ring (will be a triple powerbomb).

You need to do this for 2 reasons; outside the ring gives you extra damage and time to get the table out, and it gets rid of the Signature move, as the cheevo only unlocks with a Finisher.

As Road Dogg lays on the ground, goto the right-hand side of the ring (where the announce table is), and press LB next to the ring to retrieve the table.

Around this point, you will have around 2mins left on the clock, and have a Finisher stored. It's here that you need a bit of luck on your side, and to bear in mind this is only a guide, not a fool-proof solution....

What I did was to knock Road Dogg down outside the ring, pick-up the table, slide in-ring and set-it up. When he entered the ring, I waited for him to come close to me & the table, hit 'Y' to initiate the Powerbomb and hit the table on the way down.
Match ends with a DQ - success!!

Now, this can go wrong if the ref folds-down the table at the wrong time, or Road Dogg doesn't get in the ring in time, or in the wrong area.

Biggest tip I can give is - you can 'move/rotate' Jericho as the Powerbomb animation is loading!

So, if you hit it facing 12o'clock, you can rotate/move so that the actual impact happens at 3o'clock.

So, set your table up on the right-side of the ring, stand at the bottom and hope he enters the ring from the left. Let him come toward you, hit 'Y', then aim the Powerbomb back to the table on the right and hope the Gods are on your side....

Using this process, you should get it inside the 2mins that you have to spare. If not, keep trying, you will get it.

The ref will fold the table down and throw it out, so just throw Road Dogg out of the ring, go get the table again, set it up and wait for him to re-enter the ring.
As long as you have that Finisher stored you should get around 4-5 goes before the 2mins expire...

Good luck.

Ref kept throwing the table out so I tried it outside, put Road Dogg through the table, table was in pieces and no cheevo. It didn't pop for me till I did it in the ring

Wow. I just nailed the Jericho vs Road Dogg match on the first try. I hit the Liontamer, got a 2nd finisher and setup the table in the ring. Then I missed the table and the ref tossed it. I built a 2nd finisher, and ran outside for the table with the timer counting down. I'm setting it up, but Road Dogg knocks me down and proceeds to SET UP THE TABLE FOR ME! With less than 10 seconds to go, he finishes standing up the table, and I spin him around and powerbomb him through it. LMAO!!!

Well, I'll add a tip for Lita vs Steph. Triple H was pissing me off even after a few signatures/finishers on the outside, so what I did once they were both thoroughly beaten was to toss Triple H into the ring, knock him on his ass (signature would be perfect), then knock down Steph as quick as possible and go for the finish. You get the 3 count while Triple H is busy crawling out of the ring.

Voted positive, good guide to a tough match. I'd like to point out that I beat this match outside the ring, I got sick of trying it in the ring, so tried outside and I got it first time

Trish vs. Lita is also rough with Triple H constantly interfering.

I also have had issues with Road Dogg/Jericho because of the table not breaking fully. I would suggest beating on Road Dogg instead of purely taunting though, as it makes the meter go up just as fast.

Agreed with breaking the table outside of the ring: much easier. Be sure to aim down the middle and not a corner.

I had problems with the Lita vs Steph match as well. I literally had to get Triple H beat up enough, that he would stay down with signature or finisher, and use a stored finisher for the moonsault as quick as I could.

Out of the ring is best. Though I thumbed up, you should edit out half your solution and give the 1st guy that commented credit for the easiest route to powerbomb road dog.

Pretty much every match except for Jericho/Road Dogg and Lita/Stephanie is a total cakewalk. Just put it on easy, turn off entrances (to save time), and beat the hell out of your opponent and follow the rest of the challenges in the match. A general tip would be to mix up your arsenal of moves to keep the finisher bar going up faster, and mix in some taunts too. There is already a good tip guide for the other hard match in this chapter, but, there is a match that is even more irritating, in my opinion.

Again, while the Chris Jericho vs. Road Dogg match will be a bit difficult, I found it much easier than the Lita vs. Stephanie McMahon match due to the Triple H as manager outside of the ring. He will constantly interfere and break up pins which you will find as completely irritating. It's impossible to do this challenge unless you take Trips out of the match completely by beating him senseless before going for a pin. The following is a guide for how to beat the Lita vs. Stephanie McMahon Women's title match.

In most matches, the referee will toss out the manager for provoking distractions 3 times. Unfortunately for this, the special referee (The Rock) will never toss Triple H out of the match no matter how many times he interferes, this will be a thorn in your side in an otherwise easy match.

The best technique to do is build up 2 (or 3, if you want to be completely safe), finishers. Damage Stephanie a ton throughout the match and then, while she's down, go outside of the ring and hit your front finisher on Triple H. This will knock him out for about 10 seconds even if you didn't damage him prior to this match.

Then, quickly, slide into the ring. Stephanie is probably standing by now. Do a strong (hold X) punch or a quick running grapple attack to knock her down. If she reverses it, you need to start over because Trips will be up by the time this goes down.

However, if Stephanie doesn't reverse, and you happen to be near a turnbuckle with Steph at a distance close enough to jump, go to the top rope and press Y for the finisher.

Instantly after it, press B and do the pin option after, if you miss it, it shouldn't matter much. After all of that, it should be a clean count of 3 if Trips wasn't standing.

If he got up again, simply repeat the process. You might want to beat on him more to bloody him up (you can use chairs, I think). Overall, the trick is to make sure Triple H is down for more than 10 seconds to ensure you have enough time to hit the finishers and ensure Stephanie is on the ground.

After all of that, and you have completed the others and all bonuses: Achievement unlocked!

This one is slightly different to the other Attitude Era trophies, you actually need to unlock this by clearing a specific story in Attitude Era Mode. Clear this chapter and this trophy will unlock.
