How to unlock the Blue-Chipper achievement in WWE 2K16 - Definitive Guide
Alright Hunters,
Out of curiosity I was what the online ranks were and with some research this is what I got for you. It shows where the achievements and what unlocks at certain levels.
Enjoy.

Level 2/4 - Prospect (Achievement)
Level 5/6 - Rookie
Level 7/10 - Jobber
Level 11/15 - Mid Carder
Level 16/22 - Blue Chipper (Achievement)
Level 23/28 - Star (WCW World Tag Team Championship)
Level 29/36 - Contender (ECW World Tag Team Championship)
Level 37 - Superstar (Achievement)

If you're wanting to do the online rank achievements legitimately, search One on One Normal matches and pick a male superstar. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone else in the other game modes. But chances are that if you're looking at a guide for this, you're looking for a boosting method.
I have not tested out every single match type to see which ones give the most XP, but this is the method that me and a buddy have been using that has been getting us pretty good XP.
Choose WWE Live in the online menu and then choose TLC. Pick a Diva (you're going to want to pick a regular roster Diva and not a custom one, just to keep load times down.) As you and your friend are searching, you'll be in this Practice mode against an AI. Doing moves here will grant you bonus XP after you finish your match. From my experience, it takes a few minutes to get matched up. What I would do in the meantime is go outside the ring and grab a chair from next to the announce table. Then I would keep hitting the AI with it until I got my Signature. I'd then hit them with my signature, and then my finisher. By that point I'd usually be matched up with my partner. If not, I keep hitting the AI with the chair. I would usually get a 20% XP bonus from doing this. Alternatively, you could just let the AI beat up on you. I would get around 15% bonus XP from doing nothing during the practice.
In the match itself, whoever is going to win should grab a chair. Keep hitting their opponent with it until you get your Signature. Hit them with your signature, then your finisher. Then grab the ladder and climb up and grab the briefcase. The losing player can taunt while the winner is grabbing the briefcase, but I'm not entirely sure if that gives any extra XP.
With this method, the winner gets around 800 XP while the loser gets around 500 XP, so you'll both be levelling up pretty steadily while trading off wins. The rank required for this achievement is Rank 16, but the achievement may unlock earlier for you. Personally, the first two ranked achievements unlocked for me after I lost my very first online match. Hopefully you'll be lucky and have it glitch out early for you as well.

Good solution. This unlocked for me at level 8 going up to 9 instead of level 16 after I got destroyed in a tag match against a level 30 and a level 35.

Yes, we all love to boost because thats what the site is all about, trying to make these acheivements easier. But sometimes, boosting isnt as efficient as doing it legit.
The best solution to this and the quickest way to superstar is really through 2K Tonight Main Event. You get a 10% bonus just for playing that mode plus what you might get from practice. Matchmaking is much much quicker when compared to ladder match boosting from my experience. I assume because there are a lot of people playing 2K Tonight.
From main menu, select "WWE Online", then select "2K Tonight". From there select "Main Event" which should be the bottom option. I have read in other solutions that that mode may not always be available, but I have not seen it change since Ive been doing it. Select the Superstar you want to play as, preferably one you have some experience with and know their signatures and finishers, but even that isnt terribly important
Once in the match, just try to win, do your best. If you have been playing career you already have a reasonable amount of skill, so you should be able to hold your own. In the end, it matters very little if you won or not, winners and losers get nearly the same amount of experience. The only thing you really need to know how to do is kick out of a pin by pressing Try to win the match by submission or pinfall, dont get disqualified and dont get counted out. And dont end the match too early, even if the other guy is away from the game. The longer and more exciting the match is, the more experience both players get.
It doesnt matter if you get some high level goober who wont even let you stand up before hitting you, let him do all the work, just dont get pinned early. I have had matches where I got 1400 xp as the loser. And I have had matches where I couldnt get any offense going at all and still got almost as much as the guy who was flying all over the ring. 1100 xp in that match.
Yes, the matches themselves have the potential to go a bit longer than a boosting match, but you will make up that time and more in matchmaking speed. Thats it, easy, no setting up a boosting session, no hoping the other guy shows up, no problem. Enjoy your XP.
