How to unlock the Nice try! achievement in WWE 2K17 - Definitive Guide

This achievement seems a little dodgy, but this is the way I unlocked it.

First I went to the option menu, and selected 'GAME BALANCING'. From there I put the 'ENTRANCE RUN-IN' and 'MID MATCH RUN-IN' on the lowest setting (to make sure that there are no run ins pre-victory). After this I put the 'POST MATCH RUN-IN' on max. After this, press accept (start button).

Then go to the play menu, one on one, normal. I selected Randy Orton versus Seth Rollins, with Entrance Off and Momentum on Fast. After this I went into match options (with Y) and selected the WrestleMania 32 arena. I activated Title Match with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line, with Randy Orton as the defending champ (if Randy is not yet your champion you can let him win it in another match, or simply go to MyWWE, Title Management and change it there).

I played the match, with Randy winning (again, playing as him). Don't press A, but wait for Bray Wyatt (who came out in my game) to enter the arena. This post match thing triggered for me in this scenario every single time, at least when doing immediate rematches.

And now it becomes iffy, because it only pops if you reverse a certain move, not by just beating the crap out of them or using your finisher, or something like that. I thought reversing Wyatt's finisher would do the trick, but it seemed like I reversed a random move because Wyatt did not have his finisher yet. I advise to reverse everything he throws at you and if you don't get it, just do a rematch and repeat the process until it pops, it worked for me that way. Good luck!

I got it after reversing a grapple attempt after I'd been thrown into the corner so it does appear to be quite random as to which move you need to reverse.

Finally got this as soon as i won the title defense as Undertaker. Cena ran in and I reversed his moves, first try.

I won a match with Dana Brooke against Stephanie McMahon and then Emma suddenly comes out and beats the shit out of me with a singapore cane, I got out of the ring and the achievement unlocked. I could have sworn I got out of the ring before with somebody else and it did not unlock so I was surprised when it did pop.

This one is a bit random. Occasionally after winning, you’ll get attacked by someone other than the person you just beat. You have to reverse a major move after you get attacked, personally I got the trophy as soon as I reversed the interfering superstar’s first attack, I was on the turnbuckle. Reversing the finisher will work too. You can increase the likelihood of this happening in the gameplay balancing options, though it still may take a few matches for someone to show up. I’m not sure if defending or winning a championship increases the chance of an interference, I got the trophy when Paige interfered after I won the Women’s Championship with Bayley.
