How to unlock the Ringmaster achievement in WWE 2K18 - Definitive Guide

I happened to have a constant problem with wifi connection when loading up pvp matches. For about 15-20 games in a row, the game would have a connectivity error and as the match would start up, it would eject both me and the other guy from the session, giving us both a win for the match. I went from about 30 wins to completing this in about a day, with about 35-40 of those matches ending in a lag-related problem. I know it sounds like cheesing the achievement, but 3-4 minutes vs a 10 minute match...

Anyway, this tends to work for long streaks at a time, and if you do have to fight the other person, I would say:

At the start of the match, 9 out of 10 times the other guy is gonna try and use a running x move to jump you. I found that by backing into the ropes to rebound causes the other guy to miss, fall over, and give you a window to lay into him.
Don't spam x more than three times, or else it automatically gives the other person a free reversal
Invest in the roll-up, got a few Bullet Club wannabes on this and saved me substantial time I would have used building up another finisher.
Invest in technique and grappling if you're decent at submission holds. These also help speed up matches.

If you are constantly getting pinned/tapping out and can't seem to get a win, just grind out matches until you qualify for a ppv, the Wrestlemania one is coming up 4/2 and allows for you to repeat the missions against AI. So there's always that if you want to front load all of your wins against the AI.

With that, cheers.

Also, your Bullet Club OC is asking to be tapped out.

This doesn't really seem to be a solution rather that hoping your wifi is complete garbage. I started playing on my wifi which has issues with dropping and lagging but never could seem to get it to work.

Yeah, I just added the Wi-Fi problem as the most fastest of exploits that can happen. If you do manage to have matches I added in the strategy of how most one-fall matches play out. It really comes down to if the other guy button mashes x or if they will predictably rush you with a running a or x attack. If you can get a ladder match I found those to be fairly easy too.

The online servers for this game have been taken offline and this achievement is no longer obtainable.

First you should know that whoever has more reversals will most likely always be able to control the match.

Playing online matches against other players will not be easy until you learn how to time reversals and get your characters overall to a decent rating. The above solution has some decent points about what to expect and how to play online against other gamers. If your like me though while trying to play you will get matched up against players 10 to 20 stat rating higher then you are. I was able to manage about 30 wins while grinding out stars for the Pay Per View (PPV) matches. After finally qualifying for MITB PPV I was able to grind out wins against AJ Styles which wasn't easy if I tried to beat him via pinfall. Your best bet would be to get a count out victory. I am uploading a video of how I was able to secure the majority of my wins. If you qualify for the next PPV hope that the one of the matches is a normal one on one match which should be the easiest to attempt when going for this achievement. Remember this is only a way to attempt to get easier wins not the only way. In the video I throw AJ out of the ring, then will kick him 3 times while he is down, then raise him up to a seated position then kick him and repeat until the count is close to 8 or 9. The idea here is that you are having the AI use up there counters so they won't be effective if the match continues.

If you play poorly, then try to get to the main event - there you play against a bot, which is easier and you don’t need to waste time searching for opponents).
You can replay the fight until the end of the PPV.

Z.y. with patch 1.04 it worked exactly. Patch 1.05 came out after the end of ppv - so there is no exact information, you need to wait for ppv, which will start on December 15

ZY2 checked... with patch 1.05 you can still make victories in road to glory on a bot in the main event

Victories over a bot do not count, SmackdownHotel confirmed this.

It's not about the patches, but about the conditions of receipt. It is written clearly - in the "Road to Glory" mode, win 100 matches. And who it will be - a real person or a bot - does not matter. I myself farmed 80 wins against the Main Event bot.

in the Main Event it is quite difficult to play against a bot; in my opinion, it is easier to play against unleveled people.

It works 100% against the bot.
It also works if you throw the opponent out of the ring and wait until the countdown to 10. Sometimes this can be done very quickly. works on both a bot and a living person.

I checked - on patch 1.05, victories on the bot are counted in the main event RTG

I made most of my victories at this and at the previous main event on a bot (an extra 3 victories, MyCAREER did this in my career)
